| Julius Jamal Jackson was born in Brooklyn, New York. His father died of cancer when he was still an infant, and being the runt of the family, he was raised by his mother and his five older siblings. Julius excelled in high school, despite his drug habit, and at the age of 18, he was hired as a DJ at a local nightclub. His crazy personality and charisma made him an immediate success, and worked at the club for the year and a half. He decided that the job just wasn't paying enough, and began looking for employment elsewhere. That's when he ran into Richard Cormier and was immediately hired onto the AWA broadcast team, despite having very little knowledge about professional wrestling. |
