Horton entered the wrestling world in 1984 where he immediately became a star in Gable Brandt's MCWA, a small promotion ran in and around New York. Horton worked his way up the ladder and ended up becoming the MCWA Heavyweight Champion in 1988. While on top, Horton took in all comers, including the AWA's own Cliff Anderson, whom he defeated. There is tension between the two, mostly Anderson being jealous of Horton. Horton retired from active competition in March of 2000 and was hired by the AWA in December of 2001 as a referee. |
