Tag Team Championships | The Tag Team Championships are the epitome of excellent teamwork. These two belts signify the best of the best in the tag team division. The Tag Team Championships must be defended at least once every thirty days in any sort of two-man team competition. If the titles are not defended during the thirty day period, they will be declared vacant! |
Atlantic Championship | The equivalent of a United States or Intercontinental title in the larger federations, the Atlantic Championship is one step below the Heavyweight Championship. The holder of this title is recognized as the regional champion. Bouts for the Atlantic Championship must be under standard rules and also enforce the over-the-top-rope disqualification rule. The Atlantic Championship must be defended at least once every twenty days. If the title is not defended during the twenty day period, it will be declared vacant! |
Television Championship | The Television Championship is easily the most competitive title in the AWA. It must be defended at each televised weekly show, Riptide, hence the name Television Championship. Defending the belt at SuperCards is optional, but not required. Each match has a fifteen minute time limit. If a decision cannot be reached by the time the fifteen minutes is up, the match is ruled a draw and the champion retains the title. If the title is not defended at every Riptide, it will be declared vacant! |
