Poojia Sri Mathaji Siddhar’s Short Life History & Teachings

Holy Mathaji Siddhar was known as Rajammal. She was born 90 years back in a village near Kumbakonam in Thanjavur District. Her father was one Sri Pazhani and Mother Muthulakshmi. She was born in the year 1908.

In her 9 th year she was responsible for the establishment of an Anna Chathiram. The sacred Panchaksharam was her Tharaga manthram right from her childhood till her life. Viphudi was glorious in her life. She was steeped in her Vibhudi yogam and ultimately become Vibhudi ( sacred ash).

Her Life partner is Maha Siddhhar who also took birth near Kumbakonam. The Holy couple had two children like Annai Madhalasa she sacrified both the children in the service of humanity as Sanyasis. One of those two is our His Holiness Swamy ongaranandha of the Ongara Ashram , Pondicherry.

She was a devoted and excellent spiritual companion to the Maha Siddhar and ultimately attained the Holy Feet of Lord Shiva. She was very philanthrophic and had fed lakhs of people.

Over 900 people had been benefited by her spiritual guidance and experience . She was a woman of great foresite and common sense and a true great Siddhar.

Her Dhiksha name is "Raja Narayana Nanda Swamigal" but people call her "Mathaji Siddhar". Rajammal was the name given to her by her parents.

She had blessed thousands of people by applying Vibhudhi with her own fingures. Nobody can take her for granted and none so ever can dupe her. She was bold and fearless. By sheer spiritual strength she brought up her children with right conduct and character to serve people.

She had foreseen her future and had planned meticulously six months in advance for shedding her mortal coil. She knew the actual day, star & auspicious time of her departure and kept enquiring about the details everyday till the final day. She was showering her blessings profusely even 15 days before her final journey. She used to be cautious always used to be plain speaking, calling spade a spade fearlessly. No tolerance for mistakes and failures. It will be pointed out then and there and the person corrected and admonished to avoid a repetition she decided that everyone should live a wholesome and purposeful life. This principle was followed all through her 90 years of life.

Madhaji Siddhar attained Siddhi on 25-11-1998, corresponding to vengudhaniya year, Karthiga month Wednesday 9th at 10:30 A.M. The star on that day was Thiruvonam.

A beautiful and wonderful temple has come up at Pudupattinam. An elegant cremation ghat including Harichandra Temple has been put-up with all spiriutal glory at the very spot were she was cremated.

An informative and life sketch of Madhaji has been published bringing forth all salient features of her life, establishing her as the "Last Siddhar of the Century".

A trust has been formed under the Presidentship Sri Yagna Narayannan in her memory that caters to the welfare of women in particular.

She has been continuously sending her blessings to everybody from Kumbakonam, Mayavaram and Pondicherry.

She has undertaken pilgrimages and traveled widely all over India. The list of the places visited by her is exhaustive. Most of them she had visited by her are exhaustive. Most of them she had visited twice. The five elements Akash, Water, Fire, Air and Prithivi were under her control and continue to be now also. They actually pay their respects to her salute and offer pranams to her.

It is an indisputable truth that people have been receiving and continue to receive benefits from her benediction.

Let us pray to the Holy Mathaji Siddhar, enjoy her blessings and live noble and wholesome lives. Her motto is truth, Dharma and Justice. May her Holy Athma guide us in our entire endeavor and deliberations.
