Where are they now?The hard core band members are still active around South Wales but in other ways. Geoff Cripps can be found performing with his current band Allan Yn Y Fan. You can find out more here.
Laurence Eddy and Wynford Jones are working up a set as a duo to be called Lawford. This will include guitars, mandolin, octave mandola and probably some pretty cool vocals. Presentation will be professional but far from "stuffy". You can see them on the first Sunday each month at the Platform Folk Club in the Ynysddu Hotel, in the village of the same name in the Sirhowy Valley. Their first gig was a support spot at the Islwyn Acoustic Guitar Club at the same hotel. On the 20th February 2003 they will be guesting at Newport Folk Club in the Lyceum Tavern. In May they appear at the Tredegar House Festival. After that who knows?
And Geri Thomas? Twitching the British Bird Scene as ever, and sporadically visiting various folk clubs in South Wales where British Birds undoubtedly tick HIM off their lists! A few pages will be included shortly, dedicated to the Platform and it's regular performers. Come back soon and see what news and pictures will be added.
Remo Lusardi? Runs the Dorothy Cafe in Blackwood but now plays percussion with old friend Ian Day. (Albino Frogs)
