Hello everyone. What a crazy week and
a half this has been. First off , I
would like to thank the folks at Subway
in Hamstead, North Carolina for their
hospitality after the ICW show this
past Saturday night. The show went well
and I was more than pleased with my
match against "Wild" Shane
West. Lots of great feedback from that
one as I am sure we will have a rematch
somewhere down the road.
The controversy surrounding "Stone
Cold" Steve Austin has been all
over the place. For a while now, this
man has been at the top of his game.
But in a week's time, his life goes
to pieces. Depression is so destructive
on a human being. I should know, cause
at one point in my life, it almost was
the end of mine. But just like Chris
Benoit said on WWE's Byte This show,
there were a lot of us that had it a
lot worse! Steve should know, he too
was also mistreated in WCW. Do you think
that I liked being a wrestling composer?
Do you think I liked the legendary name
I was using "Gorgeous George"
being taken right out from under me
and given to a non-wrestling personality?
Do you think I liked being told by agents
that my angles and ideas were being
cut due to it getting more attention
than the "elite"? Do you think
I liked leaving a one time great company
that was on the verge of self-destruction?
Of course I didn't! I have been down
and have made mistakes too. But did
I give up? Hell no! I buckled down!
I got my tail to the gym, busted my
ass, transformed myself into a much
better character, and went to work whenever
and wherever I could. Now I am ten times
better than I ever was before and have
a much better appreciation for life.
There are lots of people in this world
that have been thru much worse hell
and have bounced back to be better than
ever! Wake up Steve! You have helped
build the biggest wrestling company
going today! By the grace of GOD, you
have been given the opportunity of a
lifetime that others could only dream
of having! Don't throw that away! Don't
turn your back on the people that know
and love you! Get off you ass and be
the man that we all know you are capable
of being. Never backing down from adversity
and always facing your problems. It
is time you live up to your gimmick
and be "Stone Cold".
DDP recently retired from active ring
competition. Dallas was always a work
horse. His dedication to the industry
was second to none. I will surely miss
seeing him in the ring. DDP will always
be one of the best.
This weekend, I will be wrestling first
in Elyria, Ohio for MCW. This will be
my first time in Elyria as I look forward
to seeing the fans there. My little
sidekick "Lil" Stro will also
be on hand for that event. A mini version
of me! (laugh) go figure! Then Sunday,
I will be making my return to Cleveland
All Pro Wrestling to tag with former
WCW star Bobby Blaze against the North
American tag team champions former ECW
star Chris Hamrick and Julio Dinero.
Bobby Blaze, myself, and J.T. Lightning
are known as a group called "The
Shooters". This tag team match
should prove to be a classic with the
aerial artistry of Hamrick and Dinero
as opposed to the technical wrestling
expertise of Blaze and myself. This
is one match you guys definitely don't
want to miss!
