ICW Wrestling - 6/1

The countdown to the huge ICW Flirtin with Disaster wrestling extravaganza is on. It emanates on June 15th from Topsail High School in Hempstead, N.C. With only a few short weeks left until this big card, the ICW superstars are tuning up for their matches. The action for this week edition was recently taped at Zone. ICW champion “Mean” Marc Ash did the commentary on this weeks show with ICW rookie “The Runaway Freight Train” Don Brower.

Interview: TNT came out and stated that if Russian Mafia Girl wanted some of her, all she had to do was show up on the 15th. She said she would get the 3 count in Hempstead.

Interview: NOS was shown in the back talking about Bobby Austin. He said that Austin might have won some matches in the past but he was no match for NOS and he would prove it in Hempstead.

Match #1
C.R Smooth vs. Steve Michaels

With both men having big matches coming up on the 15th, this was an important momentum for both men. This was action packed with each wrestler showcasing his repertoire of moves. The match was back and forth throughout, with no man mounting a sustainable offense. In the end Michaels’ manager distracted Smooth allowing Michaels hit his version of the Juvi Driver and get the 3 count. It was a great match all around highlighting the young talent here in ICW.

Interview. The Anti-Hero League was in the back about how they were screwed out of “their” Tag Title shot against the Biker Outlaws. Vain and Vax made fun of both teams. Vain said even though C.R. Smooth and Romeo had the title shot, The Anti-Hero League would become tag- team champs in the near future. They both also had heated comments towards Marc Ash regarding his commentary and told the ICW champ to watch out or they might come after him.

Interview. Romeo was in the back talking about his non-title match against Mean Marc Ash. He called out Marc Ash saying he could chop better. He also said that he would make Marc Ash bleed in the ring from his chops and would beat him tonight and again when it counted for the title.

Match #2 (Non-Title Match)
Romeo vs. “Mean” Marc Ash

This match was a grudge match as both men had been bragging in the back about who had the best chop. This was another fast paced match with action galore. The match broke down into a chopping contest and both men tried to prove to the other who had the most lethal chop. It then made it’s way outside with some of the support columns becoming weapons. When the action made it’s way back into the ring, Ash set up a chair in the corner. He tried to whip Romeo into the chair but it was reversed and the champ tasted the steel. Romeo then sent the champ into the ropes and hit a high impact body slam to get the 1-2-3 and beat the champ in this non-title match-up.

Interview. The Violent Storm was in the locker room area saying they were back in ICW. Shane Violence said they were the premiere tag team in ICW and would take on anyone, anywhere at anytime. John Thundercloud also issued a warning to all teams in ICW to watch out because the Violent Storm was back and was gunning for the gold.
