Words from Strozilla/
Bret Hart,Jericho, and more!
Hope everyone is having a good summer.
Spending most of this week catching
up
on some work while in training and preparing
for some upcoming matches. One
of which is a Super 8 tournament coming
up in Florida for Hardcore Wrestling
Alliance next week. In next week's column,
I will be going into more on that
event. For more information, just go
to the appearances section of my
official website for details.
I was saddened to hear about Bret
Hart having a minor stroke recently.
But
I know Bret is a tough individual and
he will pull thru. My thoughts and
prayers go out to Bret to have a speedy
recovery. Get well soon Bret!
Thanks goes out to the Gold's Gym
in Jacksonville, N.C. this past week
for
having me at their anniversary. It was
great seeing everyone. Always great
to
go work out there.
Some people have asked me what are
my thoughts on Chris Jericho lashing
out
at the internet. Well, lots of factors
have to be considered here. First off,
guys like Chris, Rob Van Dam, and many
others there go thru a very demanding
schedule both physically and mentally.
To perform at a 100 percent every
night is no easy task much less a pay
per view. Chris's frustration is very
understandable as we as wrestlers want
nothing more than for the fans to
appreciate our craft and accomplishments.
I happened to have watch the match
and I thought they did a hell of a job!
On the same token, people who are
online or not have a right to their
own opinion. What may be to some as
a
great match may seem to others as less
flattering. But to be negative at the
entire internet audience seems is a
little much. There are a lot of guys
who
have had far more worse treatment from
a select few online with their
disapprovals, but just took it in stride
and just considered it the opinions
of the few..not the whole. Jericho has
a lot of fans on the internet. So I
am sure his words were just for the
select few negatives.
Raw was something else this week. Ric
Flair looked to be in great shape in
his match against Brock Lesnar. Ric
can still go with the best of them.
Goldust and Booker T get more entertaining
each week on Raw. With Booker T
making light saber sound effects and
when "Darth Dust" hit Big
Show over the
head with the fake "light saber",
I feel out laughing! I am still getting
over his "Croc Dust" skit
from last week. Who would have thought
not too long
ago that these two would one of the
most entertaining guys on that program?
Kevin Nash punches Big Show, but Shawn
Michaels takes the big man down.
Hmmmm, Big Show, you are the biggest
man in the company ya know...hello!
If
only Andre, GOD rest his soul, were
here to coach ya along. Michaels threw
out the possible Triple H coming to
the NWO "Kliq". But isn't
HHH a Smackdown
guy? Great to see Chris Benoit back
in action again. What a machine this
guy
is! Looking forward to the debut of
Rey Mysterio to WWE. Rey is fantastic.
It
is always enjoyable to watch his skills
in the ring. He should have some
great matches there.
