to extend our deepest
sympathies and condolences to TRACY
BROOKS on the sudden passing
of her grandmother. Needless to say,
Tracy will not be able to
appear this Saturday at "The Next
Level" to square off against
Mercedes Martinez, as she will be busy
making final arrangements
for her grandmother. We are looking
forward to working with
Tracy in the near future. Assault Championship
Wrestling is
feverishly making every attempt to find
a SUITABLE replacement
for Tracy this Saturday. Keep checking

We have just learned from the offices
of ACW, that as of
midnight August 6th, 2002, "Hippie
Freak" Nick Richards &
"Purty" Kurt Adonis have been
released from the active roster of
Assault Championship Wrestling.
From what has been ascertained, it
seems that Adonis & Richards
seemingly had issues with their upcoming
role for the August
10th event. Apparently, they did not
want to do the "time
honored tradition" and help pass
the torch to the next
generation of ACW Superstars.
The head booker, Jason Knight, not
one to be bullied around by
such tactics, granted both Adonis &
Richards their release from
ACW.
Everyone in the offices of Assault
Championship Wrestling and
AssaultWrestling.Com, wish to thank
both Kurt & Nick for all
they have contributed to the growth
of this company. We also
wish to extend our best wishes to them
in their future
endeavors.
We regret any inconvenience this may
cause the fans in
Plainville that were coming to Saturday's
event to see either of
these two superstars.

Championship Wrestling's
2nd Annual Birthday Bash this Friday,
August 9th at Goodtimes
Emporium in Somerville, MA. Belltime
is 8:00pm. Jason will be
a part of the commenting team for iMassRadio.com
as part of the
NECW event. Jason will be the first
guest celebrity to perform
in this historic event. Also, as unpredictable
as Jason Knight
can be, it would be no surprise if we
were to see him get more
involved than just sitting at the commentating
table. There
will be several other members of ACW
as well as The House of
Pain Pro Wrestling DOJO in attendance
that want to see the show
& meet with the fans. Newcomer to
ACW, from Canada, Tracy
Brooks will be there if you would like
to come meet her before
the ACW show the next day here in CT.

CLOSING THOUGHTS

All in all, this has been a busy week
for Assault Championship
Wrestling. I believe we are truly making
big strides in our
development. As everyone I'm sure is
aware, this is an uphill
climb. Just as with any business, there
are trials and
tribulations, mountains to climb and
obstacles to overcome. I am
sure with the support of our great fans,
we can accomplish
anything.
This Saturday's show will also have
the debut of the very first
print edition of the ACW Newsletter,
The ASSAULT CHRONICLES.
This publication will be a down and
dirty look at ACW and many
of it's superstars. We will have columns
from the likes of Jason
Knight, Mike E. Milano (wink, wink),
PJ, and a few others. This
time this publication will be in lieu
of our usual event
program.
I hope to see as many of you as possible
on Saturday, and don't
forget to make plans for the 24th, back
where it all began,
