ROCKWOOD ROUND-UP
In what was one of the most controversial
show in GLAPWs short history,
here is
what went down:
At the top of the show, Amazing N8
announced that he had an injury to his
knee,
and was not able to defend the title.
As of result, Frankie the Face no-showed
the event in protest (more on this later).
In the Opener:
Jason Max vs. Chris Fury: This match
never took place, as the Canadian Imperial
Alliance (CIA) entered the ring (minus
manager Scotty Libido). At the last
Rockwood show (May 31), Libido was removed
from the building by Bobo and
security, and was not allowed in the
building at all. Promoter Bobo Brown
came
to the ring and asked them to leave,
when Chris Fury issued a tagteam challenge
to the CIA and if they win, the CIA
will be gone from GLAPW. If the CIA
wins,
they will get a contract. Following
the agreeing to the match, the CIA hit
Bobo
with a double stunner. It was then decided
that Bobo would team up with Chris
Fury and Jason Max in a 3 on 2 against
the CIA later in the show.
Ace Spaulding pinned Draven Stryder
(w/ AJ Michaels)
GLAPW Tagteam Title Match: The Suicycos
defeated the Untouchables by DQ
Eddie Venom defeated Grave Digger (hired
by Untouchables to replace Frankie)
on
a reverse decision. Grave Digger threatened
Bobo if he reversed the decision
and the two of them got into a fight
in the ring.
NWA Tri-state Junior Heavyweight Title
Match: Rocky Reynolds retained the title
by defeating Valik.
Ricky James defeated Pierce Havok after
Eddie Venom interfered.
Max Damin, Petey Williams and Paul
Chance defeated Upstart Players and
Asten
Williams in a six-man tag.
Canadian Imperial Alliance (Tommy Wonder
and Chris Vanity) defeated Chris Fury,
Jason Max and Bobo Brown when Fury turned
on his teammates joining the CIA and
helping them get into GLAPW. After the
match, the CIA and Grave Digger attacked
Bobo .
Winner of Rumble: Pierce Havok, and
he will earn a shot at Amazing N8 on
Friday, August 30 in Rockwood.
