will allow you to know that I will be
covering the 4 top independent groups
in Chicago. Pro Championship Wrestling
- (PCW, the newer and refreshing version
of old PWI.) Lunatic Wrestling Federation
- (LWF, the push the envelope group
of the Windy City.) Midwest Championship
Wrestling - (The newest kid on the block,
might be the shortest lived.) Windy
City Pro Wrestling - (By far the oldest,
most entertaining and loved in Chicago.)

WindyCityProWrestling.com - WCPW
Let’s start with PCW, they have
a show coming up on February 16th in
Franklin Park IL. 7PM bell. The featured
match is an 8 - Man Elimination tag
team match featuring the Heavy Weight
Champion, Sacrifice. Also a “Special
Appearance” by Vampiro.
MCW has two shows coming up. The first
is the 26th at the College of Lake County
7:30 PM bell. The featured match-ups
are MCW Champ Scoot Andrews vs. Vic
Capri and Chris Chetti vs. Magnificent
Mike. The next show is Scheduled for
February 2nd at St. Patrick’s H.S.
another 7:30 bell time and will feature
Scoot, Chetti, Eric Priest, ACE Steele
and Danny Dominion.
LWF has 2 shows coming up as well.
The 1st one is February 2nd at the Midlo
Dome at 7PM. “Ground Hog Day Massacre”
they will feature the LWF Champion Ryan
Boz defending against Charkoal and Vic
Capri against C.M. Punk. The next show
is only advertised as Feb. 23rd in Crestwood.
The February Second Show will determine
the happenings of the 23rd.
WCPW has a plate full of up and coming
events. FIRST - Wednesday, JANUARY 23rd
at 9:30PM CST, (Check Your Local Listings,)
you can see WCPW stars at the Slag Valley
Studio Training center on INSOMNIACS.
Between South Park and The Daily Show
Wednesday Night. On January 26, 2001
UAPW, (the baby of parent company WCPW,
which focuses on the less fortunate
communities. To bring them their favorite
entertainment at a lower cost and create
roll models they might be able to relate
too.) Will be going to Danville, at
the Laura Lee Fellowship House. The
bell time is 6:30 PM. Willie “Da
Bomb” Richardson will defend the
UAPW Heavy Weight Title, 9 - Mil will
defend his Inner City Championship and
LOS MEXICANOS will put their UAPW Tag
Team Gold On the line as well.
Then February 23rd and 24th. WCPW will
run back to back TV tapings for their
show on 62 WJYS Monday nights at 11:30
PM CST. Matches are yet to be announced
BUT, there will be qualifying matches
for the 2nd Annual Lee Sanders Memorial
Cup Tournament, to take place March
16th. I will give you the facts I do
know.
February 23rd, at TAFT H.S. in Chicago
7:30PM bell. WCPW CAUGHT IN THE ACT
will feature the qualifying matches
For the Lee Sanders Tourney. Also, Terry
Allen the WCPW League Champion will
be able to compete for the first time
since November. His return is not supposed
to be until the next night but sources
have said there is good probability
they will ask him to wrestle the 23rsd
as well.
February 24th at Bourbon Street in
Merrionette Park 6:00PM Bell. WCPW SENDING
THE DEVIL BACK TO HELL will, I am sure
focus on the feud between WCPW League
Champion Terry Allen and The Impaler
Baltazar, as their feud has been building
for months!
Both of these TV tapings will be what
leads us up to BATTLE OF THE BELTS 2002.
THE WCPW ANNUAL MEGA EVENT of the YEAR.
