Mason-Dixon Wrestling
6/15/2002
Stonewood, WV, Volunteer Fire Department
Gentleman Jim Hawkins (substituting
for a conspicuously absent Mark Mills)
welcomed the crowd. Self-proclaimed
hardcore champion Southern Brawler
acknowledged all the criticism he had
received on the internet, but
challenged anyone to face him. J.R.
Slam answered the call. The match went
to a no contest when the New Millennium
Assassins (w/ Just'n Kace) destroyed
both men.
Nikita Allanov pinned Daron Smythe
after Johnny Blast interfered, allowing
Allanov to hit Smythe with a chain.
Allanov and Blast attacked Smythe until
his tag partner Dash Bennett made the
save. Bennett challenged
Blast/Allanov to face the Premier Players,
which promoter Jim Hawkins booked
for later in the card.
Latin Tornado was announced as the
MDW Light Heavyweight champion, and
pinned Mercury Flash to retain the title.
Spiffy Sean Styles cut a promo about
being too prestigious of a wrestler
to
perform in Stonewood and challenged
anyone to face him. Jim Hawkins said
he
had an opponent in mind, but he would
announce him...just cue his music.
Marty Stewart's "Hillbilly Rock"
blared over the loudspeakers as Thrillbilly
Ox bought the crowd to their feet in
a frenzy. Ox attacked Styles with his
rubber chicken. Styles dominated the
match by working over Ox's leg until
Ox managed to stuff the chicken in Styles'
mouth and hit the 400 lb. body
splash for the pin.
The Premier Players defeated Johnny
Blast and Nikita Allanov in an awesome
tag team extravaganza when Bennett pinned
Allanov.
Mason Hunter (w/ Valerie Valentine)
pinned Zubov (w/ Just'n Kace) to keep
the MDW Heavyweight championship.
The New Millennium Outlaws attacked
Hunter after the match, and the locker
room soon emptied to start a battle
royal. In the end, Spiffy Sean Styles
threw Dash Bennett and Punchy McGee
over the top, but referee Pee Wee
Sherman threw out Styles to be declared
the surprise winner.
