Oklahoma Championship Wrestling

Crowd was estimated at 150 for Oklahoma Championship Wrestling in
Tulsa, OK.

Rocco Valentino started off the show with announcements, but was
interrupted by Brandon Groom with Summer Rain. Groom asked why he
wasn’t scheduled for a match on the card. Rocco told him that he got beat last week and had fallen out of the Top 10 and there wasn’t a spot on the card for him this week. He begged for a match stating it was his 22nd Birthday. Rocco congratulated him on his birthday, but still didn’t have a spot for him.

Big Daddy Moore & Killer Karl Davis defeated Northern Threat
(Jean Paul & Luc LaPointe) with a double chokeslam to become #1 Contenders to the OCW Tag-Team Championship.

“Mountain Man” Terry Montana retained his OCW Hardcore Title by
defeating Shadow of Death. This match was very gruesome as the handles on the trash cran came loose and were jagged causing gashes to both wrestlers.

“Human Hate Machine” Outcast defeated Tyler Bateman to become the #1
Contender for the OCW Light Heavyweight Title. Justin Lee started
interfering during an Outcast pin attempt, under the guise of
“helping” his partner. As the ref was distracted, Outcast pushed Bateman into Lee and hit his Prozac Plunge finisher for the pin.

Splash Jackson & Brian Lakewood retained their OCW Tag-Team Titles by defeating Butch Dalton & Brandon Groom (substituting for Chief Red Eagle). Chief Red Eagle was unavailable for the match and Butch was determined to take the champions on by himself. Brandon Groom came out and said he knew the Tag-Team Champions better than anybody and Dalton needed him as a Tag Team partner. Dalton was upset by this, but the bell rang, so Groom forcibly became Dalton’s partner for this match. Dalton worked the match and kept refusing to tag in Groom. Ending happened when Groom tagged himself in off of an Irish Whip. Dalton became furious and turned on him, setting up Groom for a double team by the champions. After the match, the crowd sang Happy Birthday to the fallen Groom. Groom asked Viper (ring announcer) what had happened and realized he had been suckered by Dalton.

“The Commissioner” Rocco Valentino retained his OCW TV Title by defeating “The Future” Justin Lee (current OCW Light Heavyweight Champion) with The Finito (Tilt-A-Whirl Powerslam). Outcast attacked Lee after the match with a Top Rope Frogsplash and grabbed the mic for the first time saying, “I think it’s time for a new leader of the I.C.F.” This sets up a program for control of the OCW Light Heavyweight Title.

Smash Hanson defeated Michael Faith with a Top Rope Claw Bomb. Hanson was put over as a complete monster in this match.

Vinnie Valentino defeated A.W.O.L. in a 2-out-of-3 falls match to
retain the OCW Heavyweight Title. A.W.O.L. surprised the champion with a Running Powerslam to get the first fall, but Valentino struck back after the 1-minute intermission with a surprise Inside Cradle for the quick pin in Fall 2. In the third fall, the match was all A.W.O.L. as he hit several power moves and continued to wear the champ down with various chokeholds. Finish came when Valentino got a second wind and got A.W.O.L. trapped in a Sharpshooter, forcing a Tap Out after trying
to fight out of it for a few minutes. After the match, Smash Hanson
stormed into the ring and laid out Vinnie Valentino with the Claw Bomb. Rocco Valentino, who was at ringside watching the match, ran in to get Smash off of his cousin. Hanson hit his finisher on Rocco. Michael Faith ran out from the dressing room to try and get back at Hanson and got a Claw Bomb for good measure. The heels emptied the locker room and pulled Hanson away. The faces ran out and did the same for Valentino. Pull apart lasted for several minutes to end the show.
