Former APW competitor AJ Thorn, or simply
Thorn has won out over Brad Mason in VCW's first ever ladder match.
After being handed the title by James Anderson III at the start
of the night, Thorn accepted Brad Masons challenge to earn not
only the title but the respect of his peers.
Thorn and Mason matched each other move
for move the entire match, however Andersons involvement would
eventually help sway the matches final outcome. Anderson handcuffed
a downed Mason to the corner of the ring, removing him from the
match completely.
Thorns title victory marks a new era for
not only VCW but also for Thorns career, having pursued the belt
back in APW Thorn had never acheived the height he hs in VCW.
