He was the son of William KILMINSTER and Martha HERBERT
Jane LARGE, daughter of Thomas & Mary, baptised 13 Sep 1805 in St Michaels, Stone, Staffs.
When Thomas was 23, he was
"charged on oaths of James Burt JORDAN & others,
with having riotously assembled with divers other persons and destroyed a haymaking machine,
the property of Robert JARDEN.
Also with having broken 3 hay making machines,
the property of William POULTON, at Cricklade St Sampson
warrant dated 29 Nov 1830 from Devizes Old Prison."
SENTENCE:- he confessed and "entered into recognizance for £50"
