Her classifications were infinate,
The steez were right and
skin dark and rich.
She could never say more than friends,
When I ment lovers to the end.
After the prime of my youth could I,
Tell her the whole and entire truth.
Even then I always seemed
to be too late,
When I asked her to be my partner
through life's jouneys
she said she already had a date.
Damn it hurt me to hear those words,
But happiness came when I put her first.
