This was my second meeting with Tony. I decided that before hand, i would have a list of topics to deal with and talk about in case of limited time. My topic list included:

i) domain names
ii) the companies computer
iii) the outlook of the page
iv) what Tony wants to get out of the page (realistically)

My meeting with Tony went perfectly on schedule, we talked a bit about the project and the page. Tony, at this point wasn't interested in having a domain name at the time. He felt that it wasn't a neccesary purchase right now. I informed him of the pricing and costs of domain names and still he didn't bite. He felt that he would consider it, but really didn't seem interested. I was suprised that Tony wasn't very interested in this idea. I had informed him of the annoying pop-up ads and banners that were drapped all over the page, and how it would affect the professionalism of the site, but it didn't seem to sway his stance on the subject.

After that, we discussed the companies computer systems and performance. I learned that AUTOSTLYLE has 4 computers - all networked - running on Windows 98, through a cable modem hook up to the internet.

The next topic addressed was the outlook of the page and what to put on it. It was establihed earlier that the site would be an informative site - showcasing the cars and parts available, and also advertising the repair and autobody area.
Tony seemed interested in joining an industry association. I told him about maybe being a member of a webring or having memebers on his site. He knew that through this, advertising would be done and that more people would be aware of the company. I told him that i would definitely look into this area and report back with any information i could attain.
For other areas of the site we discussed taking pictures of available cars and putting them on the site. Also, Listing information about the parts that were available for sale, including links to the manufacturers.
Again, i addressed the idea of having testimonials on his site from satisfied customers or from customers talking about the parts they had purchased, giving their unbiased opinion. He agreed.

Near the end of the meeting, we decided what he wanted to gain through the site - realistically. He informed me that he was not in a hurry for anything at the moment and that i could take my time in developing the page for him. After looking at the first few pages of the page (AUTOSTYLE) he seemed pleased with the work. He really doesn't know much about web design or HTML so he seemed impressed.

to this date i have not really put much time in developing the page. Many of the links remain under construction, (ie, cars, parts, etc.). To finish these parts i have to get more information from Tony, and also get some pictures of the cars. This should be easy to attain, and most of the work should be completed soon enough.
