Bare bodies
entangled in a sea of comfort
with only my hair
to cover my nakedness
And your skin is so soft
And your touch, so gentle
And everything is just so...
perfect.
But I imagine she feels the same
when your eyes stare into her
and your lips speak so fondly
of this angelic devil you've discovered
And I close my eyes
and try to rest
as if somehow,
sleeping on the problem
will threaten it to a point of solution.
But when I open them
I see your restful smile
and can't help but wonder
if you're thinking of her.
