Band Bio
The Irradicats are a Jazz guitar quartet with a Latin tinge.
The instrumentation consists of Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Congas w/ auxiliary percussion.
The music is swingin’ and fun, yet sophisticated and relaxing.
The Irradicats began as an 8-piece horn-driven ska band, which quickly incorporated swing,
be-bop, and Latin elements. From 1995-1999 they played from Sacramento to Los Angeles,
frequenting places such as The Phoenix Theatre, The Catalyst, and numerous others.
The Irradicats have played with Let’s go Bowling, Yeska, Monkey, The Articles, and
the Slackers.
After a 2-year hiatus, The Irradicats are back with a mature and inspired sound that
showcases the individual musician’s talents.
