A manhwa (thought it was spelled "man hwa", but I'm not sure) is a Korean comic. If you don't know, Korean animation is the type of art that is close to Japanese animation. To be more specific, South Korean animation is the type of art that is close to Japanese animation. I've not only seen this in novels, but in games and in some movies as well, believe it or not.
