Judy Soccio and Juan Rodriguez are artisans. Using stained glass and fabric as their media they design and create custom window treatments for discriminating designers.
SoccioRodriguez Design is a couture drapery workroom. Hand stitched hems, British construction methods, and hand-applied trims are our hallmarks. As window treatment specialists, SoccioRodriguez Design can provide window treatment design guidance; discussing fabric suitability, treatment styles, appropriate linings and interlinings. Options for trim, hardware and motorization may also be recommended.
As a stained glass studio, SoccioRodriguez Design designs and fabricates panels for doors, windows and cabinets. We also create stained glass domes and fireplace screens. We use the Tiffany method of stained glass construction. This method permits complex designs without any loss of detail.
Couture fashion is synonymous with perfect fit. SoccioRodriguez Design measures each opening and location, making special note of more than 30 specific measurements including heat register and electrical outlet placement, depth of casings, and any architectural features that may interact with the window treatments. Our attention to detail is especially welcome when asked to work from blueprints. We make frequent site visits to ensure the truly custom fit you have come to associate with SoccioRodriguez Design couture.
