Abigail (Owen) Clark

On the back of the picture was written: The William Owen house at Trescolt. Three generations of grandchildren Vicie the babies and I. 17 children were born here, only one living, Aunt Clara Clark. The writting was believed to be written by Abigail Clark.

Abigail (Owen) Clark

Abigail was born on May 17th, 1832 in Trescott, Maine. She married John E. Clark. Her Mother was Mary (Robinson) Owen and father was James Owen. They had five daughters:
  • Oceana Clark (b.1857)
  • Lenore Clark(b.1858)
  • Abbey Clark (b.1860)
  • Victoria Clark (b.1863)
  • Phoebe Clark (b.1866)

Her uncle, William Owen, fought for the British in 1775 and fought for the Americans in 1812.
