Celia Tierney
Celia was born in Kingston, N.Y. on June, 1888. The family later moved to Danbury, Ct. to work in the Hating Industry. She was a "trimmer" in the Hat Co. She attended St. Peter's Catholic school. She received the most education of her nine siblings finishing the 7th grade. She married Jimmy Welch and they had one daughter:
Celia died in March of 1973. Her Husband Jimmy followed her in death in March of 1974. The family lived their whole life in Danbury, Ct. and are buried in St. Peter's Cemetary, Danbury, Ct.
