Picture of Jesse Wild taken sometime around 1905. The name of the company he drove for was The Long Acre Express and Van company. You can see the last part of the company's name on the side of the wagon.

Long Acre Square was the original name for what is now Times Square. This is a photo of what Long Acre Square looked like at this time. If you look carefully in the bottom left portion of the photo you will see a wagon that is nearly identical to the one Jesse drove.

Jesse Wild

Jesse Wild was born December 10, 1876 and died March 16, 1922. He drove a wagon for Long Acre Express in Time Square, New York City. Time Square used to be Long Acre. He was married to his first cousin, Mary Ellen Ahearn on April 22, 1893. She was born March 8, 1877 and died July 25, 1921 and together they had ten children:
