After having gone through some extraordinary changes, the girls are captured by a group of lizard-like warriors who seem to have a fascination for Solinde and Sakuya.They are attacked by another group of these reptile warriors and the girls are quick to discover that these people are in the middle of a brutal war!
Led by the intimidating Lor’gam, they are taken back to the warriors’ camp to rest. When approached about the Spheres of Power, Lor’gam reveals he knows where one of them is. But he will only tell them if one of them can best his grandson, Su’gam in combat.
Slipping out of the Thorzarian camp, the girls sneak off towards the mountain Axol'tal and the Sphere of Fire. Waiting for them inside the mountain is a rather nasty surprise.
The girls now possess one Sphere, four more to go.Taking a rest in the village of Nari, they encounter an Enchantress who is willing to tell them where the Sphere of Water is if they can complete three simple tasks.
The girls talk their way aboard a Ket Ni cargo ship called the Mathiliies commanded by Captain Kikercuik. They learn a little about Artana’s past as they sail closer to yet another Sphere.
The girls arrive in the Palace Beneath the Waves, and are granted an audience with Princess Cakuikiquickuxex or ‘Leema’ for short. She will give them the Sphere of Water in exchange for a story.
After once again arriving on dry land, the girls run into Xirnox, a bounty hunter sent to retrieve the two Spheres of Power they carry and kill them all. How will they escape this mess? Who can rise to the challenge?
