The Art Gallery

In my spare time one of my favorite things to do is draw. Sometimes I just sit and doodle when I get bored in school (ahem) and other times I take time to sit down and really work on something. Or I even sit my butt in front of my computer and make something up on that.

This page includes pieces of art (yeah right) that have come outta my head or was inspired by something I've seen or like. Take a look around but don't touch (e.i. take anything). Thanks!

^Don't even ask about this one. Let's just say that it is the result of watching too much Saturday Night Live and a very bored mind.

^I can't remember exactly how long ago I drew this but I still like it even now. It's Charlie from "All Dogs Go To Heaven" (I still love that movie, even after all these years).

^I drew this in October of 2001. It is a character I made up. The drawing style I used was inspired by Japanese cartoon drawing that I was then getting into via the T.V. show Cowboy Bebop. This style I find very interesting and I find it a great medium to work with. I call it The Black Wolf.

^I made this up on my computer for my now closed X-Files site. Even though I'm not really an X-Files fan any more, I still think this little thing came out pretty cool looking. I think it is what you would call 'computer art'.

^Yet another flash-back to my X-Phile days. This is a picture I worked with on my computer and I, again, I still think it came out kinda neat looking.

^This is Simba from "The Lion King". Can't remember when I drew this, but it is one of my better tries at drawing a lion.

^This is a hard one to explain...It was my place-mat at the 2000 band awards dinner. It was originally a chart of one of the marching sets in our show that year. I gave it my own 'special' touch.

^This is Pocahontas from, of course, "Pocahontas". I was never a big fan of this movie, but I found the drawing method they used for Pocahontas interesting and decided to try my hand at it. Its a look, though, that no one in their right mind should try to bring to life. Six inch waists in drawings interesting- six inch waists on live people sickening.

^This was my second attempt at drawing in the anime style. It was a labor of love creating this. I drew it in August 2002 just before band camp began. This is my favorite out of all the art I have ever drawn. There are heavy influences seen here from Cowboy Bebop. I based her on the character of Spike Spiegel (Who else?). I've yet to come with a name to call her, though. There is one thing I can tell you- she is one bad a@@ cowgirl.

^I also drew this picture in August of 2002. I actually drew it at band camp. Coming off my sucess with my Bebop like character I wanted to try my hand at a more fantasy style anime drawing. This was the result. She was inspired in part by the marching show theme this past year, "The Power Of The Rings". The working title for this piece is Lord Purple. Cheesy, yes, but its what it is for now.

^This is my first try at drawing the online character that I use in The Balto League. I guess it is how I think I would look if I were a wolf. :)

^My second try at drawing my online character, WolfGeekX. A much better piece of art. I like the color scheme on this one a lot more than that of my first try. :)

^My human/wolf form of WolfGeekX...
