Animes Are Inspiring
7th JUNE 2004 - MONDAY

somewhere the night before, I was talking to Afzal about me downloading Chobits and he recommended using bit torrent as it would be more reliable, I thought what the heck just give it shot. Afzal said usually it downloads at 30kbps more or less while kazaa is really pathetic nowadays. When I was downloading the Chobits; the whole 24 episodes the speed was around 122kbps and Afzal couldn't believe it, so I sent him a screenshot. Later in the early mornings I checked before playing warcraft with Shawn, the speed was up to 222kbps (even wow for me) and best part was there was no lag while playing with Shawn.

9am woke up and saw that my download was complete.
And to think that it took me the weekend to download 3 episodes of Chobits, while this bit torrent did the whole series within less than 12 hours.

Today I was suppose to wake up at 9am to go collect my passport. I woke up before then but went back to sleep again. It's a bad habit, I always seem to be able to wake up before the alarm clock goes off but then I refuse to get up any sooner. Today I didn't set my alarm to wake me up cos my dad said he would do the waking. I didn't feel like getting up at all when suddenly the muscles in my lower left leg tighten and felt like it was being twisted inside. It hurt like hell... Like my leg could've might as well just break off since I was in agonizing pain. This however is not the first time I've experienced this... only last year onwards once in a while it will happen to either my left or right leg when I'm sleeping on the bed.
This problem cannot be relieved that easily, if I move, the muscles will tighten even more and hurt even more, the same goes if I relax the mucles, the only way was to hold the position till the pain very very very slowly subsides.
The weird thing of this problem is that it happens when I need to get up, as far as I can recall. Or just keeps me from getting the sleep I need.

So I got up and went to wake my dad. Yes he was sleeping. Well can't blame him the weather was so cool and comfortable for sleeping in after how many days of blazing hot and humid weather. I'm interested to experience the four seasons of Melbourne. Yeah so we got out, had breakfast and went to collect my passport which took only like fifteen minutes. Badawi, or should I say Pak Lah rox.

Got home had nothing to do, so I decided to do Chobits marathon, watched the entire series from 11am till 4pm. After watching the hardships that the main character (what's his face) went through, I was inspired, motivated and wililng to face whatever life difficulties that Uni-Life abroad has in store for me minus the cute chobit chick. (damn)

Well had dinner at my uncle's place (again) not to my preference as usual. Came back and Afzal dropped by and passed me some cds to burn the Chobits series in. I feel kinda lazy as I have yet to burn my own copy of Chobits and other series on my 80+40gb hdd. I'm trying to back up all my goodies in preparation for my new computer.

Chobits is one of the best anime I've ever seen, well it is almost a big impression as Love Hina; my first anime recommended by Shawn. In short and rather rough way of explaining why I like this show is because I find a dumb cute girls trying to learn things in life quite appealing. Especially when they get the teachings wrong. If there are any animes with beautiful/cute girls, you can be sure sooner or later I will get around to finding out about them and watching them. (buahahaha) A girl's innocence turns me on.

Well the main character Hideki Motosuwa is a ronin student, a student that failed to get into a university cos of bad grades. So he decides to try again by taking the exam the following year. He moves to the city and rents an apartment. Life was tough for him as he found that chobit chick and now became even poorer as he had to support the chobit chick as well. But fortunately he found a job and worked and seemed like he was able to provide for himself and her. Well... he also did receive alot of help from the people around him.

I wish my experience in Australia could be similar to that. But I don't think the chobit thing will happen.
