Good News?
Now Playing: Me - You're A God
Well today was funny.
Some people would cuss at themselves for being dumb but I just laugh at myself about it.

I woke up at 7am today and dragged myself out of bed to go to class. I was quite impressed with myself today because I had actually arrived in class on time and this is very rare! Today was so cold and was so difficult to get out of bed for it.

So I got into class and then two tutors came in to class and they were not my regular tutors which I have for my lab sessions. I also noticed that there were not many people in the class and I did not see familiar faces who took lab sessions with me as well. After the tutorial class, I sms'ed Shawn asking him what time his class would finish to see if we could for for lunch. I was still sleepy at that time and when he did not reply me I walked home.

When I was in my room, Shawn came and asked me where did I go so early in the morning saying that he thought my class was 11:30am. You know what? He was right. My class WAS usually at 11:30am and I was like... nuts. I do not know what happened to me but it was funny.

Later on in the afternoon Tim called and said my video card was ready for pick up. I have gotten a new replacement since the one I turned in was busted. However he said that World of Warcraft was out of stock and he would only have it the next day, so I'm only going to collect my video card tomorrow when I can purchase World of Warcraft too!

I really hope this would be the last of my pc curse.

What A Semester
Mood:  lazy
Now Playing: Too Phat - Anak Ayam
Well first of, the curse of pc problems never actually left me quite just yet, I had problems with my video card and it tooke me quite a while testing individual hardwares off my pc to determine who was the one messing around. It was indeed the video card so I sent it back for replacement since it was still under warantee.

While all this was happening I had loads of assignments and projects to do. I had to even go to university to do my stuff. It was really inconvenient. My advice to you who have to work with computers in your studies, get your own and make sure it doesn't die when you need it the most.

Since I had been to Renegade Computers so often, I'm sort of like a regular customer there, so the owner, Tim, was kind enough to lend me a video card temporarily while mine was being replaced. I tried borrowing video cards from friends but theirs was all AGP typed video cards while mine was the latest technology called SLI.

I just feel like the load of work I get from university makes the days seem like its going fast, but when during intervals between submitting assignments and receiving new ones, I feel like the days did not really go that fast, I'm still long way before the semester ends. Illusions of life.

Oh yeah a week ago, I was cooking eggs, and one of them was rotten. I tell you... the smell was so horrible. The word "horrible" is an understatment. It was traumatizing. It stinked my whole kitchen for a week and now I don't feel like eating eggs anymore because I can still smell the foul stench of it whenever I have eggs to eat. In fact I can still smelll it in my nose. Somebody please pray that this is only a temporary effect.

Hard Rock Cafe
Mood:  celebratory
Now Playing: Delirious - Rain Down
Well today was the first day of university classes again. I kicked it off by having the first class at Prahran. The far far away place. It was alright, till I heard from the lecturer that they expected us to have almost completed our flash animation of an e-card for presentation next week. I haven't even created all the objects. Looks like a busy weekend for me.

Anyway enough about that, tonight was the night I finally was able to call Irwin out for his birthday celebration which was suppose to be on his birthday but he had assignments to complete then. So we postponed it until tonight. We all met at Flinders Street train station. Irwin, Tuck Him, Shawn and Lee. So far this is the outing with the most people I've organized in Melbourne. Haha.

Hard Rock Cafe's food was so-so, American Chillys is like ten times better though, but I was not bothered because I was in the company of my friends and that mattered more. The waitress that served us was quite cute and could not stop staring at her whenever she was near. I know I was not the only one who thought so. Tuck Him had to same opinion as well. He wanted to make a move on her asking if he could take pictures with it, but he blames me for spoiling the chance to do so when he was asking if they accept International Student ID Card for a 10% discount and I just said "don't worry about it and keep the change".

She was one of the few caucasian ladies that looked good with black hair.

I guess I blew it yet again! I wonder why I keep throwing away opportunities like this. Just like that time when the girl at my university who looked like Kirsten Dunst asked me question and I just gave a dumb answer like "I don't know" and she disappeared from my life... Argh... Woe is me!

Fever Again
Mood:  down
Now Playing: John Mayer - Daughters
Woke up today to feel myself having a fever. However it was not a serious one, as I still managed to get up and continue with my daily routine.

Well I hate being sick. I rarely get sick in a year but when I do it really iritates me. To me it's like, when it rains, it pours. I couldn't stand being sick, so I took an antibiotic pill. Now I thought that thing was suppose to make me sweat but it didn't. So I went about the day doing my usual stuff. Spent the whole day trying to find pixel arts and pixel art creating software for one of my university's assignments.

*Sigh* back to classes tomorrow, moreover back to Prahran. I hope I feel better tomorrow. I feel like this warmth radiating around my arms but the warmth isn't there and I also feel cold at the same time.

Blue Jeans Blue
Mood:  chillin'
Now Playing: Beatles - And I Love Her
Well today I did my washing, and when it was done, some of Shawn's shirts had some blue colouring on them, and my white socks were in the shade of blue as well. I just realized that it was the doing of my pair of blue jeans. The weird thing was this never happened the last time I threw it in with other clothes. Even my white shirt now is in the shade of blue >_> I have learnt my valuable lesson today about blue jeans. Well this is the first time owning a pair of jeans since I was five.

Cooked dinner today out of almost instant stuff.
I fried chicken breast tenders and topped them with cheese sauce and also fried some potato nuggets. They're like hash browns only smaller pieces. I also oven baked these pastries called Triangles... which had feta cheese in them. Those tasted good.

I hope this looks good =)

Oh yes I also recorded myself doing John Mayer's "Your Body Is A Wonderland".

Late Night Activities
Mood:  not sure
Now Playing: Delirious - Majesty (Here I Am)
Well I cleaned up the house today, mopping the floors and vacuuming my room and also cleaning the sink in the bathroom. I sweated after that, and felt much better but I'm still sick though.

Waited for Shawn to have dinner but he once again was too busy with his online games and by the time he finished, it was around 10pm and by the time we went out to find a place to eat, the all were closed. Walked around and just decided to buy groceries and return home to cook our own dinner.
While at the counter wanting to pay for the groceries, the lady working there looked at our 10 packets of Maggi Instant Noodles and went "I hope you don't eat that everyday." I said I only eat it when I'm too lazy to find anything else. I probably should have replied "No, but he does" pointing at Shawn.

Flaming Toaster
Mood:  chillin'
Now Playing: Paul Van Dyk - Nothing Buy You (cirrus remix)
I'm feeling a bit sick today probably because of the sudden weather change. I guess it is really autumn now, since the weather has been so cold these past few days.

I woke up at what I thought was 4pm today but found out that daylight savings has commenced today so it was 3pm something. Hahaha. I soon realized it was 27th of March today and someone's birthday. I sms'ed her wishing her a happy birthday.

Went to like reheat leftover foods from days before. I had like overnight fries so I decided to pop it into the toaster oven. Well I was kind of lazy to put foil for the fries in the oven, cos the oven was like grill and fries would fall of the grill. So I just left it in the paper it was wrapped in and set the timer for 5 minutes. I went back to my room to chat with some friends. When I went back to the kitchen I saw the toaster smoking. I opened up the oven door and saw that a small flame was burning the paper that held the fries. I blew the flame thinking that it would put out the fire like what people usually do with a candle, but the fire became bigger. I calmly wet a cloth and hit it on the flames and it put them out good but now there were ashes all over the place. I had to clean it up by vacuuming. I also had to do a major clean up on the toaster oven.

Went to Renegade Computer shop at Caulfied at around 8:30pm to collect my money for trading in my old computer. The whole event was so funny. It was like I was a gangster collecting protection money from that shop. It all started like this.

I went to the KFC there to have dinner, but it was closing soon so I had to eat outside. Shawn and I set on the bench across the road of the Renegade Computers shop and ate our dinner. My friend Tuck Him wanted to meet up with us since he was living nearby. He was the one freeloading in my house before this. So he came quite a while after I finished my dinner and when he came out of KFC I decided to enter Renegade. So we went in, all three of us with Tuck Him still munching on his dinner. I looked left, looked right, looked at the lady at the counter and asked where was the owner of the shop. So she went and called him, but he was too busy playing network games with the customers in his shop. It was also sort of a cybercafe. So the lady gave me my money she counted and then handed it to me and I counted and asked me "ngam mou?" and I said "ngam!" and pocketed the money.

Well it looked so much like a protection money thingy... I was having a good laugh with my friends after that.

Good Friday Was Good
Mood:  chillin'
Now Playing: Delirious - My Glorious
Today was the one of the nicest Good Fridays I have ever had. Usually back home in Malaysia all Good Friday was, would be dark and gloomy day where we would remember what Jesus did for all of us.
However we should not feel sad on this day as if somebody dear to us had died but more of somebody who had saved the world.

Yeah anyways enough about that, my point was nothing usually happens on Good Friday for me but today my friends Attila & Pam and their family invited us over for sort of like a get together in conjunction with Mandy's (Pam's sister) birthday which was a few days ago. Attila called me like something around 1pm in the afternoon while I was still trying to get some sleep but I thought, oh well why not go out for a change.

When Shawn and I arrived there, we saw many other people already there and settle in, enjoying the food and chatting with each other. Okay now to the interesting part. The food.

I started off having Afghany bread with 4 different type of dips which was made by Mandy. She's a chef and she is a uber one at it too. Sometimes she brings us some of her cooking which is a real blessing! Then later I ate some nasi briyani like thingy which taste good as well, probably made by Pam and Mandy's mom. After that I ate some hotdogs and chicken wings from the barbecue grill. I regretted not eating them corns =( and then proceeded to eating some indian vegetable mixed salad thingy and also some spiral pasta thing. I was stuffed after that.

After that I hung around chatting with some of Mandy's friends, they were all very nice and friendly people.

Not a long while after, we had a birthday cake which was absolutely delicious! It was Tiramisu Baci Cake which contained tiramisu (obviously) with like coffee flavored ice cream. It was so good that I had to go for second serving. I wanted to go for a third but just could not take it anymore, I felt too rich or saturated. I am really getting old, I cannot take too much of anything anymore which is good in some ways that it restricts me from overeating which leads to a controlled diet =p

Attila & Pam's house and compound is huge!
The first time I went there I already thought that their house was very big but only today I saw the backyard and it could easily fit 3 more of their typed houses. However the reason why they could not build anything at the back portion of their yard is because it was a place where the septic system leads out from their house, into the ground to sort of like fertilize the land. This was the first time I had heard of such system which is quite impressive.

I was so full from the afternoon that I did not even have dinner but only a light supper. It was a really a nice day.

History Maker!
Mood:  energetic
Now Playing: Delirious - History Maker
Today was the first day of easter holidays.
So obviously I did not have classes. I woke up late and then played around with my forums and stuff.

Then later got ready in the evening to go to Planetshakers' City Church's easter event at the Arts Theatre in Melbourne City. It was a big deal because they had Delirious over!!!

Delirious was the first Christian contemporary band that I was exposed to and I enjoy their style of music and even performed History Maker in a few places. There was one phase that I could always relate my situation with Delirious' songs.

It was the first time I have ever been inside the Arts Theatre. It had the ability to house a very huge number of people and it was really really tall. Everytime I look up at the audiences on the first and second floor I would go "wow" and feel dizzy for them. The air was thick but I did not know what made it so, but it was so that the lights that were shining could reveal their beams through the thickness of the air.

They came tonight playing new songs like My Glorious and also old time favourites like Did You Feel The Mountains Tremble and History Maker. It was truly and experience for me. I will always appreciate this day. It was just like a real concert with very good video display backgrounds and choreography of the lights. Of course their music was the best.

Unwelcomed
Mood:  sad
Now Playing: Simple Plan - Addicted
First things first, let me remind you all that this is my blog, so I have the right to express myself however I see fit. If you do not like what I say, then just dont like it. Nobody is like forcing it up your ass or anything. Okay? Okay. Lets start.

Well it all happened when I was sleeping... and suddenly my computer picked up this message...

I woke up in the morning to get ready for class to find that. Now to any ordinary person it would be like... "What a way to start the day off!" but I made a resolution to be a better man regardless of situations. Well mostly of the anyway, I'm only human and I can only do my best.

So the whole day I've been thinking about that situation... I sent that image to Shawn and he read it and on the way walking to campus we talked about it, eventhough it might have seem not much I appreciated him for talking with me about, shows that somebody in this world actually cares.

Anyways enough about that... After my second and final class of the day ended, I went to a restaurant called Red Bean near the campus to eat lunch. One of my uni-mates said this shop was ran by Malaysians, and he said Ipoh to be exact. I don't really know about that but yeah, anything goes. Their portion was really huge. So I had to get it to go. The aunty there; probably the owner of the establishment filled the container with more food O_O and told me about tips when bringing home curry and stuff. Well probably because I go there quite often and they sort of know me.

So anyways... there was this one moment where it was so surreal like a movie or something, when I exited the shop, the sky was cloudy and sorta gloomy looking, while walking home, I folded up my jacket and carried it on my arm. John Mayer's No Such Thing started playing on my mobile phone and suddenly the sky became clear, bright and sunny.

For some reason listening to music whenever I am feeling down really blocks the pain out. It's like listening to the music won't allow my feelings to be hurt.

Tomorrow beings Easter holiday which lasts for 7 days and tomorrow Delirious is coming to perform at Planetshaker's Easter presentation. I feel demotivated to go but then I should because it would probably be (as Mathew said) a once in a lifetime opportunity. All this while I listen to Delirious' songs but never saw them perform life. I am still contemplating.
