Diamond Falls/Fall Creek Falls/Vivian Lake/ Diamond Peak Recreation Area
Once again a valiant effort to finish another hike runs awry. This six mile hike starting at around 4000 feet is great until you hit the snow level currently over 5000 feet. After hitting Diamond Falls and turning up and nearly making it to Fall Creek Falls I was turned around do to the steep elevation in combination with a snow covered path at hip level in places. This one will have to wait for another day.

This is a fantastic falls to see. It is hard to see from the main trail, but you can hear from far away. There is a side trail that leads to the base.
