A visit to Guangzhou's Jade Market is a must!  It's located on the west side of Guangzhou city, near to Upper and Lower Ninth Street.
Apart from jade, you can also get stone carvings, pearls or Chinese handicrafts.  

I love hanging out here on weekends.  Not to buy jade though, but to look at the antiques or reproduced antiques!
