The Chicago Jazz Senior team is one of the newest additions to the Chicago Jazz teams. They are coached by Kristi Frank, Lisa Darken, and Paula Bischoffer. They skate to "Carol of the Bells" for their short program. The theme of their long program is the best of Gershwin, which includes the songs, "I Got Rythem", "An American in Paris", and "Rhasphody in Blue." The team was thrilled to place amoung the top half of all the teams competing at Nationals this year. The Chicago Jazz Senior team recently performed at the Boot Skatin' Benefit in Rockford, Illinois with Tonia Kwiatkowski, all proceeds went to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. The team has performances planned at the Oakton Spring Ice Show and the Rolling Meadows Spring Ice Show before they wrap up their first, very successful, season together.
