J.F.K. - The Man Behind The Flag
||| HOME|||JFK|||THE KENNEDY FAMILY
"JFK was pond scum." Newsweek, August 19, 1996. Such a serious and damning quote. But is it true?

JFK blackmailed starlets into servicing him or threatened they’d have their careers destroyed. Despite his numerous affairs, many were left less than satisfied. Marilyn Monroe told a columnist that JFK would not indulge in foreplay because he lacked the time. Angie Dickinson commenting on JFK’s brutal lovemaking style called it “the best 20 seconds of my life.” Due to JFK’s sex drive, he was in awe of Sinatra because he had what he wanted more than anything else: a collection of the best broads in Hollywood. Since the days of their father Joseph, flaunting their money, power and bodies around has become trademark for the so called Princes of Camelot, the Kennedy boys. It has been said that Joe encouraged his sons to, "Get laid as often as possible!" Ego blaring and not wanting to disappoint, the man who would become the 35th President of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy and also future Attorney General Robert Francis Kennedy, did their part to carry on the family tradition. Both Kennedy men were notorious for abrupt dumpings and cut-offs where relationships were concerned. Many times contact with the amour just ceased and was accepted, but rarely was there an honourable split of a relationship with a face to face meeting. This was such the case with JFK and Marilyn Monroe. Bobby was sent to L.A. in February of '62 to squash her lust for him. With libido in full swing, it was about this time that he began his own hot and heavy fling with the actress. JFK would be, what anyone today would call, a drug addict.

Kennedy took codeine, Demerol and methadone for pain; Ritalin, a stimulant; meprobamate and librium for anxiety; barbiturates for sleep; thyroid hormone; and injections of a blood derivative, gamma globulin, to combat infections. JFK suffered from permanent venereal disease because he had been re-infected so often. He infected his partners with a disease so serious that it causes 35 percent of all infertility in US women. During the missile crisis, Kennedy was taking antispasmodics to control colitis; antibiotics for a urinary tract infection; and increased amounts of hydrocortisone and testosterone to control his adrenal insufficiency. For much of his life, Kennedy also suffered from severe and potentially dangerous bouts of diarrhea. Kennedy took anti-diarrheal drugs for relief. He also had high blood cholesterol, often in the range of 300, once at 410, which is twice the level now considered desirable. He had a tremendous proclivity for infections. Kennedy received "seven to eight injections of procaine in his back in the same sitting" before news conferences and other events. JFK also received shots of speed from Dr. Max Jacobson, a.k.a. Dr. Feelgood which he became addicted to.

On several occasions in Palm Springs, George Jacobs caught Peter Lawford and JFK doing lines of cocaine together in Lawford's guest room, insisting it was for his back pain. Kennedy also experimented with different drugs on many occasions. Fiddle and Faddle were Secret Service code names for 21 and 23 year old staff members hired mostly for sex by JFK. He tested dangerous drugs on them without their knowledge by putting drugs in their drinks and examining the effects the drugs had on them, like science experiments.

JFK was venerated by the world entire. In less than four years, he had put an end to racial segregation, avoided nuclear war, and launched the space race. His popularity made the younger generation aware of its historical and cultural heritage, and for this he was beloved. The assassination was a blow to the national optimism that prevailed.
