Marilyn Monroe and Sam "Momo" Giancana
||| HOME ||| |||MARILYN MONROE||| MISCELLANEOUS PACK FRIENDS
Marilyn was used and abused by many men in her lifetime, and Giancana was one of them. He is rumoured to have indulged in an affair with Marilyn, and was the last person to indulge in sexual relations with her before her death, presumably at the Cal-Neva Lodge, the weekend before her death where she was molested by prostitutes and various other “friends” of hers as part of a blackmailing attempt on behalf of the Kennedys. Giancana used Marilyn, wanting to obtain information on the Kennedy family and gain power over JFK.

There are many theories and much controversy surrounding Marilyn’s death. Was it an overdose? Was it suicide? Was it murder? Concerning her death, it is said that JFK and Joe Kennedy arranged to have her killed as she posed a threat to the Kennedy dynasty and national security as her calls to the White House and Justice Department were causing trouble and Bobby had blabbed information about the Castro hit to Marilyn which could have proved to be dangerous all round if the information fell into the wrong hands. The Kennedys asked Giancana to take care of her and he agreed, wanting to be as close to the Kennedys as possible.

Giancana revised the Kennedys plan of murder to include putting the blame on the Kennedys for her death. However, he was angered when the newspapers did not even implicate the Kennedy brothers after her death.
