Hi y'all. I'm Fantomex (Mike) and live in Leeds, England where I've been for over two years now. I've been reading Marvel comics for around six years having picked them up at the end of 1996 after many years in the wilderness. I remember reading Sgt. Fury, Rom and the Sub-Mariner's tales when I was little in the mid-seventies but never realized how incredible they were until I was nearing my thirties. Buying the Onslaught books and some British reprints in Ireland on a trip out one day, I was amazed how much they had changed in the lost years. Onslaught was great and despite it's many criticisms, remains one of my favorite reads, especially Onslaught: Marvel Universe.

I then began collecting all the books associated with the Onslaught saga and learned of another story called the Age of Apocalypse. I bought all those too. Before long I had a few hundred titles, mainly X-Men and Generation X but quickly moved onto pretty much all Marvel's titles to see what I enjoyed most and ended up with lengthy runs of Avengers, Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four and Inhumans. Now, I have well over 2500 of them in my collection and scoured the internet for information whenever I had some free time. Browsing through uncannyxmen.net one day, I noticed they were looking for people to contribute and having some available time and feeling confident in my writing skills, I decided to have a go.

It's a very large site with all kinds of information about the X-books and well worth a few (dozen) hours browsing. I'm currently writing synopses for them including Quicksilver, X-51 and Domino. I think the site, along with X-Fan, the wry comments of X-Axis and Silver Bullet are indispensible sites for Marvel comic fans and you can find all sorts of information and trivia here.

I'm currently working on a page that shows the history of the X-Universe in its basic chronology. This could take some time so it's an ongoing project.
