Exodus 6)

Then the Lord said to Moses, "Now shall you see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land."

And God spoke to Moses (only twice in Ex. here and and 20:1. See 3:7 and 6:10), and said to him, "I am the Lord:" (Note 5 repetitions v.2,3,6,7,8)
And I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, by the name of GOD ALMIGHTY (El Shaddai) but by My name the Lord was I not known to them. (= perceived or understood. The name Yahaveh was known as the covenant name; but was not known as to be understood)
And I (note 3 repetitions vv.4,5) have also established My covenant with them, to give them (individually. This is why this revelation of Yahaveh as "the God of the living" ensures their resurrection. See 3:6 and cp. Deut. 11:21) the land of Canaan, the land of their sojourning, wherein they were strangers.
And I have also heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered My covenant. (All Israel's blessings based on this. See 2:24)
Wherefore say to the son of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians (Note 7 fold blessing in vv.6-8 and cp. 7 fold promise in Gen. 12:2,3. #7=spiritual perfection, completeness), and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem (= redeem from charge, by payment. First occ. in connection with Israel. See 13:13) you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:
And I will take you to Me for a People, and I will be to you God: and you all shall know that I am the Lord your God, Which brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.
And I will bring you in to the land, concerning the which I did swear (Heb. "I lifted up My hand". Act put for the thing accompanying it: rightly rendered "swear") to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the Lord.' "
