Job 38)
Then the LORD (Yahaveh) answered Job (we now have Yahaveh's own ministry, and the theme is Himself. Elihu's ministry furnishes the text: "God is greater than man" [33:12]. This leads up to "the end of the Lord" [Jas. 5:11]"How shall mortal man be just with God?" See 4:17; 9:2; 15:14; 33:9; 34:5. How different from the ministry of his 3 friends, which, like most ministries of today, consist in the effort to make men "good" by persuasion) out of the whirlwind (What is this whirlwind? That highly polished bronzed whirling disc that His throne is aboard in Ezekiel.), and said,
"Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge? (In other words, after 37 chapters God says, “Why are you listening to those idiots? They don't know what they're talking about Job.” Unfortunately that's the entire lesson of Job. The same thing you get from most pulpits in this nation today. God says, “Why do you listen to those idiots!?' You've always got His Word, you know you could listen to your Father)
Gird up now your loins like a man (stand up and act like a man); for I will demand of you, and cause Me to know.

Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if you know. (If you know so much Job, If you are so wise in your flesh body with it's pea-brain, then where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Stop and think about that one? Where were you? Do you know? “Well, I wasn't born yet.” Ohh? Where were you?)
Who has laid the measures thereof, if you know? or who has stretched the line upon it? (Who put each star in place and set the natural law and the order of things. Answer Him! Naturally man has got to say, “We don't really know how many are out there God.” And you don't.)
Whereupon are the sockets thereof sunk? or who laid the corner stone thereof; (See Jude 6,14. 1st earth age when journey began. Where are the sockets that hold this earth exactly where it is at and keeps it in that position?)
When the morning stars (children of God. Bear in mind Revelation chapter 12, where Satan drew a third of the stars, that's God's children. It's referring to man.) sang together (All the morning stars, the sons of the morning, the sons of God, sang together. There wasn't one bad note in the whole lot. What I'm talking about is harmony and peace of mind), and all the angels (see Gen. 6:2) of God (Elohim) shouted for joy? (Have you heard all the sons of God, everyone shout for joy recently? No, you've always got some group over here that's got some very sad detail that's very grievous to them. But there was a time when all the sons of God shouted for joy and sang together. Do you realize that Satan was a son of God? God created him and Ezekiel 28 declares it. He was God's son! He was also one of those that sang with joy. Do you understand what I'm saying? Back in that perfect beginning before sin entered into that world that was. I'm not talking about this world age, back when all the sons of God, call them angels if you'd like, they were simply souls that inhabit this earth age and would eventually pass through into this age, one at a time one time only. Where did your soul come from? It came from God, of course, and you were with Him. All the sons of God, created at the same time, sang for joy because there was happiness there. Job where were you when that happened? What is Job going to answer? He doesn't know. He doesn't know at all.)
Or who shut up the sea with doors (who put the shoreline), when it broke forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?
When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddling-band for it, (The firmament.)
And assigned for it My decreed place (I chose my own place, Mt. Zion.), and set bars and doors,
And said, 'Hitherto shalt you come, but no further: and here shall your proud waves (white caps) be stayed'? (When the wind quits blowing What happens? They are gone.)
Have you commanded the morning since your days (Have you told it, “Sun come up?” Job, did you do that? Can You? Do you see how small man is and how unlearned compared to your Father? All wisdom comes from our Father and if you don't listen to Him friend, you're sottish.); and caused the day-spring to know his place (Who put the time clock in its proper sequence?);
That it might take hold of the ends of the earth (That it could lighten and darken, at whichever time), that the lawless might be shaken out of it? (Who has the power? Job can you take the wicked one, is really what it says. Can you take hold of this earth and shake the wicked out of it? God said, “I can, I've done it before.")
It is turned as clay to the seal (He made your body and placed a soul in it); and they stand as a garment (A garment for what? A garment for souls. “Job can you take the clay that was level and cause the images come up from it? Can you make a living being from the clay Job?” This is the Potter talking to the clay friend, you got it? “And further more, Job, not only man, do you see those images on the horizon, those trees? Can you make them come up Job? Can you create seed?” Need I go on? Our Father, our Father is all powerful.).
And from the lawless their light is withheld, and the high arm shall be broken.
Have you entered into the springs of the sea? or have you walked in the secret of the depth?
Have the gates of death been opened to you? or have you seen the gates of the shadow of death?
Have you perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if you know it all.
Where is the way [to the place] where light dwells?
and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,
That you should take it to the bound thereof, and that you should know the paths to the house thereof?
Know you it, because you were then born? or because the number of your days is great?
Have you entered into the treasuries of the snow? or have you seen the treasuries of the hail,
Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? (E.g. as in Josh. 10:11.)
By what way (path, journey) is the light divided up into parts (as the rays of light in a prism), which scatters the east wind upon the earth? (Causes it to heat up.)
Who has divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;
To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is (no man is necessary); on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;
To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?
Has the rain a father? or who has begotten the drops of night mist? (See Ps. 133:3. One of the purest waters on earth.)
Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who has gendered it?
The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.
Can you bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
Can you bring forth Mazzaroth (= the 12 signs of the Zodiac marking the path of the sun in the heavens) in his season? or can you guide Arcturus (= the greater sheepfold; known today as "the great bear". See "The Stars Also") with his sons?
Know you the statutes of heaven? can you set his dominion thereof in the earth?
Can you lift up your voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover you?
Can you send lightnings, that they may go and say to you, 'Here we are?'
Who has put wisdom in the inward parts? (see Prov. 1:7) or who has given understanding to the heart?
Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,
When the dust grows into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?

Will you hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,
When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait?
Who provides for the raven his food? when his young ones cry to GOD (El), they wander for lack of meat.
