Job 40)
Moreover the LORD (Yahaveh) answered Job, and said,
"Shall the reprover with The Almighty instruct Him? the disputer with GOD (Eloah), let him answer it."
Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
"Behold, I am vile (this is true wisdom. This is "the end of the Lord" [Jas. 5:11], and the "end" of this whole book.); what shall I answer You? I will lay my hand upon my mouth. (Symbolic of silence and submission.)
Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yes, twice (Heb. idiom for doing a thing repeatedly); I will proceed no further."
Y K1 40:6-13. Yahaveh's 1st appeal to Divine power. [General.] L1 40:14. Consequent admission. K2 40:15-41:10-. Yahaveh's 2nd appeal to Divine power. [Special.] Dinosaur [40:15-24]. Leviathan [41:1-10-]. L41:-10,11. Consequent inference. K3 41:12-34. Yahaveh's 3rd appeal to Divine power. [Special.] Leviathan, continued.
Then answered the LORD to Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
"Gird up your loins now like a man: I will demand of you, and declare you to Me.
Will you also dis-annul My judgment? will you condemn Me, that you may be righteous?
Have you an arm like GOD (El)? or can you thunder with a voice like Him?
Deck yourself now with majesty and excellency; and array yourself with glory and beauty.
Cast abroad the overflowings of your wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.
Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the lawless in their place.
Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.
Then will I also confess to you that your own right hand can save you.
Behold now (look at) behemoth (the dinosaur, draw a picture with the description given. He made him also), which I made with you; he eats grass (vegetarian) as an ox.
Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the muscles of his belly.
He moves his tail like a cedar (6 feet in diameter at base, 100 feet long. Only one of God's creatures has a tail that big, a brontosaurus! A hippo only has a little pigs tail): the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. (Thighs, femur 6' tall.)
His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
He is the chief of the ways of God (biggest living thing God made): He that made him can make His sword to approach to him.
Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
He lies under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. (He lays wherever he wants peacefully.)
The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. (That's how big he is.)
Behold, he drinks up a river, and hastens not: he trusts that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. (He doesn't worry about something getting him.)
He takes it with his eyes: his nose pierces through snares. (Not a trap made that can keep him.)
