Zechariah 14)

1 Behold, the day of the LORD comes (Final warning), and your (referring to Jerusalem) spoil shall be divided in the midst of you. (At the appearance of Antichrist - Satan.)

2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to war (referring to the yet future and final siege of Jerusalem); and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished (one world-ism. See Mark 13); and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the People (God's elect) shall not be cut off from the city.

14:3-11. YAHAVEH. GOING FORTH.
B D1 Yahaveh. Going forth.
    E1 4,5-. Events and Consequences.
   D2 -5. Yahaveh. Coming.
    E2 6-8. Events and Consequences.
   D3 9. Yahaveh. Reigning.
    E3 10,11. Events and Consequences.

3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, just as when He fought (cp. Josh. 10:14) in the day of close-conflict. (The Katabole, overthrow of Satan. See Jer. 22-28. Cp. Ezek. 38 & 39.)

4 And His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives (this precludes the possibility of any reference to what is past), which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley (between the norther and southern half of Olivet); and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. (He plows through a way of escape for those that chose Him.)
5 And you shall flee to the valley of My mountains (so called because of the physical change which HE will yet bring about, in the two new mounts formed out of one); for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azal (noble place, a new place, yet to have this name, at one extremity of the valley. For God's election and His army. Cp. Ezek. 40-48): yes, you shall flee, like as you fled from before the earthquake (referred to in Amos 1) in the days of Uzziah king of Judah:

and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints (holy ones: i.e. angels; as in Job 5:1. Ps. 89:5,7. Dan. 4:13; 8:13. Matt. 24:30,31; 25:31. Jude 14. Cp. Deut. 33;2,3) with You. (This takes us on to the 2nd Advent.)

6 And it shall come to pass in that day (the Day of the Lord), that the light shall not be light, nor dense: (Eternal Light, Christ is here defacto. It will be as in the 1st earth age. The firmament will be around the whole world.)
7 But it shall be one [continuous] day (one day by itself, unique. Cp. Ps. 118:21) which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night (answering to v.6): but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
8 And it shall be in that day, that fresh waters (or, perennial waters. These are the waters of Ezek. 47) shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea (the Dead Sea), and half of them toward the hinder sea (the Red Sea): in summer (not dried up by heat) and in winter (not congealed by frost) shall it be. (No seasons)

9 And the LORD shall be King over all the earth (cp. 4:14; 6:5. Rev. 11:15): in that day shall there be one LORD, and His name one.

10 All the land shall be turned as the plain from Geba (now Jeb'a, 6 miles north of Jerusalem) to Rimmon (now Khan Umm er Rumamin [Neh. 11;29) south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and be inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate (see Jer. 20:2; 37:13; 38:6) to the place of the first gate, to the corner gate (cp. 2 Chron. 26:9), and from the tower of Hananeel (Jer. 31:38) to the king's wine-presses. (All the way around)
11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction (cp. Mal. 4:6, i.e. Anathema); but Jerusalem shall hide in security. (Ref. Lev. 26:5. Cp. Jer. 23:6. Ezek. 28:26; 34:25,26,&c.)

14:12-21. NATIONS SMITTEN.
C F 12-15. 12-15. Plague.
    G 16. Worship.
   F 17-19. Plague.
    G 20,21. Worship.

12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the peoples that have fought against Jerusalem (the subject now returns to the smiting of the nations); Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. (Change of dimensions. Change of bodies is all that this means. See 1 Cor. 15:50-54.)
13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great panic from the LORD shall be among them (because they were deceived and misled); and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.
14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the nations round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass (animals of commerce), and of all the beasts that shall be in these camps, like this plague. (No trading there.)

16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King (as in v.9. Yahaveh will be the universal Sovereign), the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. (Ref. Lev. 23:34,43. Deut. 16:16. No Animal sacrifices. He wants your love.)

17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no [periodic] rain. (Your mind will not be blessed of God. Cp. Jesus and the woman at the well.)
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, [not upon them shall be no rain, but] upon them shall be the plague (as foretold in v.12. Ref. Deut. 11:10), wherewith the LORD will smite the nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. (Unbelievers. Disciplinary action not destruction.)
19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

20 In that day shall there be [inscribed] upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD (ref. Ex. 28:36; 39:30); and the pots in the LORD'S house shall be like the bowls before the altar. (Everything there will be holy, no corruption allowed to exist.)
21 Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness to the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice (love and respect) shall come and take of them, and boil therein (ref. Lev. 6:28. Cp. 1 Sam. 2:13. 2 Chron. 35:13. Ezek. 46:20,24): and in that day there shall be no more the Kenites (sons of Cain, sheep-traffickers, false teachers, sellers of souls to hell by lying to them) in the house of the LORD of hosts.
