Dream Man - Chapter 2

"Heather, thank you so much for driving me to the airport to pick up Leah," Laura said to her best friend as they left her house. "I'm a nervous wreck this morning for some reason."

"Didn't you sleep well last night?" There was concern in Heather's voice.

"No, quite the opposite. I slept very well. It's just..." Laura's voice trailed off.

"No, don't tell me... the dream? You had the dream again?!"

"I can't, she'll hear me," Leah said as she pointed at Laura as she got closer to them. "All you need to know is that she'll be the happiest she's been in a long time when her 11:30 appointment comes in tomorrow."

A few seconds later Laura was with them walking to the car. Little did she know what was truly in store for her...
