Dream Man - Chapter 32

Everyone said their goodbyes as Kevin and Laura left. They were ready to start their new life together. A large white limosine was waiting for them, and they got in the back, waving out the window before rolling it up. He looked deep into her eyes. She was the most beautiful and radiant that day then he had ever seen her since they met. He didn't think it was possible to love her more than he did at that very moment. She felt the same about him too. "I love you," she said, looking deep into his eyes. "I love you too," he replied, as their lips met in a passionate kiss...

Laura was startled by the alarm clock. She sat up in her bed, very disillusioned and confused. She looked about her room. Laura's heart sank. But it seemed SO real! she thought, as she looked at the time. "Damn, gotta get to the salon. Got a busy day today," Laura said outloud as she got ready for work.

"Damn, Laura, you look like hell, honey," Janet said, surveying Laura's appearance as she walked into work. "Didn't you sleep well last night?"

"I slept OK, I guess. I just had the weirdest dream. I dreamt that I met the Backstreet Boys and they asked me to go on the road with them as their personal hairstylist. Of course I ended up falling madly in love with Kevin Richardson, and he with me, and to make a long story incredibly short, it ended with he and I getting married." Laura sighed. "I think I need a vacation," she said, laughing.

"No, not a vacation. Just sounds like you're reading too many of those Fan Fiction stories you're always talking about," Jen said, as Misty, another one of Laura's co-workers, laughed.

"Well, did I at least get Howie in your dream?" Misty asked, nudging Laura's arm. "Well, you tried, but Howie was interested in my sister Lisa, and of course he was. She's my twin after all, and I'm a helluva lot more cool then you, smartass," she joked, as Misty turned her nose up, mocking her of course. "Well, I never!" she said, walking to answer the phone.

"Damn that girl cracks me up sometimes," Jennifer said.

"Yeah, me too. Well I guess I'm going to sit down at the desk and wait for my first appointment. I've got a busy day ahead of me," Laura said, heading up to the reception desk.

Laura was doodling on a scrap piece of paper on the desk as she heard the door open. She almost fainted when she saw who walked in. Brian Littrell, AJ McLean, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, and of course, Kevin Richardson.

Maybe dreams really DO come true, she thought as she greeted her first appointments of the day . . .
