"...so, congratulations to Howie and Cherie Dorough. May they have a lifetime of happiness together. Here-here!" Kevin said, as he rose his glass, then tapped it against his new girlfriend, Teresa's, glass. He smiled at her warmly, then looked down the head table to where Nick and Laura were sitting arm in arm. There was a long time where he couldn't bear to see them together, but those days were gone. If Laura and Nick were truly happy, then that's all he could ask. Nick kissed Laura tenderly on the lips. By this time, the bridal party was working their way to the dance floor for their dance with the bride and groom. Nick stood up and extended his hand. "Care to dance with me, Ms. Bradley?"
Laura placed her hand in Nick's as she stood up. "I thought you'd never ask, Mr. Carter," she replied with a sexy smile. Nick led her to the dance floor and they began to move with the music. Laura sighed as she sunk into Nick's arms. Finally, everything was right in her world...
