Mom

To take this time to talk to you seems so right,
To find the words to thank you is the hard part.
What would I ever do without mom's insight,
The kind that comes from only a mothers heart.

You were there for me when I was finding my way.
Never once did you judge my stupid mistakes.
You just loved me unconditionally everyday.
I knew you were there no matter what it takes.

If God were to fashion the perfect mother,
he wouldn't have to go far to find the perfect one.
He would look down and see you, like no other.
The perfect mom is you, his job would be done.
