Warning: LONG JOURNAL ENTRY AHEAD!! (I've been a VERY busy girl!)

Last week was the entire Van's (my main friend group) spring break. My spring break is this week. But I only had finals until Wednesday morning, and then I was done. The only members of Da' Van that were home for break were Melanie, Corey, and, of course, Shannon and I. Karen was off working at soup kitchens and stuff like that. I call her "Missionary Karen" now...hehe. Tony stayed at Bowling Green, and I'm not entirely sure why. But anyway, I'm going to give a summary of what my life's been like lately.

Not last Friday but the Friday before that, Corey, Melanie, and I went out. We saw The Mexican (BAD, BAD, BAD MOVIE!) and then went to Applebees and then back to Corey's for awhile. The next night, I think we may have gone to Sitwells (a coffee shop). Ooh, that was the night I drove on the wrong side of the median, but I didn't get killed...hehe. And we went to Denny's afterwards and talked to this awesome guy named Aaron, whom I believe is a soulmate (though a non-romantic one) of mine. Sunday night I stayed home because I had an art final to take at 8 the next morning. Monday and Tuesday night I stayed home. Tuesday night I crammed for Latin. On Wednesday, Melanie and I went shopping together, and then we went back to my house to hang out with Corey, Shannon, and Tony for awhile. After that, I took Corey to the Warehouse for his first ever Wednesday Warehouse experience. We met Angelina there. Walking in the place, Corey looked petrified. At that point, I felt so guilty for thinking Corey would like such a place. But when the first 80s song came on, Corey brightened right up, and we ended up having a really, really good time. He had a crush on this really cute, blonde, raver guy. And Corey and Angelina hit it off pretty well, too, which was nice. I like it when my friends like each other. Tyrone was especially clingy to me that night, which I enjoyed. Tyrone is strange...it's like, you don't really want to have a relationship with him, but something about him is just really admirable, and you just like being around him and having him touch you. Or maybe it's just me, but I do believe my twin sister agrees. (Hi, Nina, since you're like the only person that reads my journal entries!!) That night was so full of incredibly horny people. There was this group of people beating on each other with whips. But that was nothing compared to this one couple who were making out on the dance floor. She had her legs wrapped around him, and they were humping each other. It was utterly disgusting. And at one point, he had his face in her crotch. Anyway, enough about Wednesday. On Thursday, Corey took us to New Wave Music Night at Vertigo. The people there were just as gothic-looking as the people at the Warehouse, so I don't really know why Corey looked scared at the Warehouse...maybe because it's bigger and darker. Anyway, I don't really like Vertigo that much, but we still had a good time. Corey found another guy to stalk. And this kind of scary guy was stalking me. It was flattering because I have such low self-esteem and feel good when people are attracted to me, but at the same time, I'm incredibly shy and hated it. So then we went to Denny's again. Friday um...~trying to remember~...oh yeah, we shopped all day long at Kenwood Mall. And then we saw Best In Show, and incredibly hilarious and wonderful movie. When we were shopping, I bought a WONDERFUL fairy princess skirt that I will be wearing tomorrow to the Warehouse. Saturday night I went to the Rocky Horror Picture Show with Angelina. Before that, we went to Sitwells, where I ran into my Latin teacher, whom I have a HUGE crush on. He said I did well on my final...yay! And SUNDAY WAS THE A PERFECT CIRCLE CONCERT, which was incredibly, incredibly, flawlessly wonderful!!!! After many extra hours of driving because of Marissa, whom I could not stand, though I had a huge crush on her before I met her since she's incredibly beautiful. And she left Rally's fries all over my back seat...grr to Marissa! Anyway, the concert...I cried for the first half of it, unable to scream or move or breathe. And the second half, I loosened up a bit and could sing along and breathe and move...hehe. "Three Libras" was breathtaking. I just bawled my eyes out as though it was a sad movie. My chest was heaving because of the extreme excitement. I really think that I am deeply in love with Maynard...I know I've said this before about my various rock star gods, but I'm seriously really into this man. Too bad he's engaged, like he'd want me anyway. He started out shirtless and in leather pants. Then he took off his leather pants and had on these weird little spandexy short shorts. Angelina and I agreed that it almost looked like one of those panels they put in front of obscene things on television. I kept imagining the "panel" disappearing...hehe. His shorts kept falling down a bit, and you could see a bit of butt crack in the back. It was WONDERFUL, and he has a most perfect body. He kept making jokes about the Backstreet Boys and about how Indiana and Kentucky aren't as good as Ohio. It was so funny...sigh. Anyway, I have to cut this short because I have to get a shower and then go out to lunch with Lindsey. But, anyway, after the concert, Angelina and I went to Denny's and talked to Aaron for awhile. Then we went back to my house and slept and watched movies the next day.

A wonderful, exciting, BUSY few days that have left me achy, underslept, and sluggish, and with bird guts on my windshield from an interesting highway bird-hitting accident, but I think I'd do it all over again if I had the chance...hopefully without the "You come in too late, you evil child" fights with my mother.
