School went surprisingly well. I didn't do anything foolish like get really lost like I usually do. (I know it's my second year at UC, but I don't put anything past myself.) I was nice and early for my first class, but the professor never showed up! This was my 2-hour REALLY HARD Psychology class. Well my next class wasn't until noon, so I had from 8:30 (we all stayed a half hour before leaving after he didn't show up) until 12:00 to kill. When I was sitting there waiting for the prof. (with only 2 other girls...somehow we were the only ones who didn't know about the professor cancelling, I guess...story of my life), Jessica walked up. She's one of my friends from last year. We talked on the phone a few times over the summer, but I just was never really sure I liked her, and I never knew why. We have everything in common, too...it's strange. But it was really good seeing her (maybe because it was just good seeing someone I knew). Her boyfriend came with her and was waiting outside for us, and she asked me to hang out with them until her next class. HE...IS...GORGEOUS. He looks just like the lead singer of Sevendust...a big dark black guy with dreds. Wow, he was so hot. And he was just really goofy...he made me laugh constantly. She did a good job getting him! Why can't these kinds of men come into MY life? Then I went to get my books and ran into a girl from one of my classes last year, and we talked a bit, and she said we'd have to help each other with Research Methods in Psych. (she has it with me) and should exchange numbers. So that'll be cool. Then I ran into my friend Matt from school last year, the Filipino guy. He went back to the Phillipines all summer and said he spoke his native language (which he was trying to explain to me...I'm not going to try to recount it) all summer and is, thus, rusty on his English. And he is! He has a major accent now and never had much of one last year. I think it's funny. And while I was talking to Matt, Brian Croswell walked by (guy I dated in high school). He had on a Crow shirt...how nice. He said hello. I'm still kind of scared of him after hearing strange things about him from Jeff. Then I took my books to my car and went to the food place to sit down and kill two hours. I was reading my Sociology book just for fun because I had nothing else to do. And I ran into this girl from one of my classes last year, and she introduced me to her fiance. So, all in all, it was a good day. Sociology class was good, too. The lady just talked about her life the whole time, but she's led a kind of interesting life. Certain specializations in Sociology allow you to be pretty much a Psychologist...well at least a counselor. Maybe I'll somehow get an emphasis in Sociology to go along with my Psych major...if that's possible. I have no clue. I'm stupid about this stuff and will have to talk to my counselor. Well, I'm going to chill out because I've had a fever all day. Yay to being back in school!
