"James Dean" came out in 2001. James Franco played the part. He was born in 1978 and is the oldest of 3 boys. In order to get into character, Mr. Franco actually cut himself off from his family, friends and girlfriend, in order to understand how the real James Dean felt being an isolated man. He copied James Dean's smoking habit, and even put the cigarette's out on his arms, because James Dean was rumored to have done that. Wierdo. Anywho, James Franco has been in other films such as Spiderman, City by the Sea, Deuces Wild and Whatever It Takes. He originally auditioned for the part of Spiderman's character but, you know, he didn't have the spiderman-ness I guess so he was cast as Harry Osbourne instead. He is and has been dating Marla Sokoloff (who almost dumped him due to the lack of communication during the filming of "James Dean"). Marla Sokoloff Has been in lots of crap but I think she is best in "The Practice" where she plays Lucy, the office girl. In conclusion, I liked this movie, thus, if you haven't seen it already, go rent it from your local video rental store and watch it now! ::gives a cheap, phony salesman smile::.
