I am not at all shy about the fact that I am selfish. Everything I do is motivated by my desire to have a need met. By writing this article, my desire and need is to get others to understand what most non-professional female dominants (Dommes) want and how you can make us happier.

Pride is a very interesting thing. It's something that we all should have; However, Dommes (and male Doms) are known for having rather large doses of it. I am a very proud person. I am proud of my humble beginnings and how far I've come. I'm proud of my many academic achievements. I'm proud of my incredible artistic successes. I'm proud that I have positively touched the lives of so many people. In the small, narrow scope of day-to-day people and interactions, I feel quite superior. In the lives of submissives and slaves that wish to serve me, I am Superior to all other humans. I am The Queen. The Diva. The Goddess - The Cappuccino Goddess.

There are many ways that these submissive and slaves can show this to me. Money is always a good one. Money happens to be one of the most powerful tools in the world. Money makes things happen. Money may not be able to get a soul into heaven, but money can certainly make a soul's time on Earth heavenly. If one wants to be my slave or submissive and, therefore wishes to please me by making my existence happier, they are going to need to part with some money.

My desire to have someone part with their money and shower it upon me is not intended in anyway to negate the other wonderful things that a submissive or slave should do. I also expect my pets to clean, cook, drive, massage, carry things, build things, etc. I expect my submissives and slaves to place their most precious gift, their life, in my hands. If they can trust me with that, surely they can spend some money. Give me your life, your power, your energy, your skills, your talents, your money.

As a Goddess, I deserve to be pampered and spoiled. As a woman with tremendous pride, I require it. One thing that is of high importance to me, as I am proud, is my appearance. By taking care of my appearance, I show the world that I care about making the best impression possible. I want them to see how I express my inside on the outside. For this I need: My hair done, a pedicure and a manicure, facials, massages and clothing.

Should a submissive or slave be talented enough and have the time to properly do the things needed to take care of my appearance (they are a hair technician, a pedicurist, a manicurist, a esthetician, a masseuse, and a seamstress), they are blessed and we can save. But, that's not realistically the case. It's going to cost money. Since my submissive or slave is to make me happy, take care of my wants and needs (which they are doing for selfish reasons), and make sure I am pampered - Guess who gets the honour of doing the paying.

Yes it is an honour to do these things. As a non-professional Domme, I am very selective about who I own and who I accept substantial (no pun intended) tributes from. As a proud woman, I do not take things from just anyone. And, I expect my pets to be proud that they are mine. I know that they know that they are must be very special to be in my company. Not only that, they are proud that they have such a fabulous woman in their life that takes such great care of her appearance. Pay for it.

By the way, I like to take care of my insides, too. Treat me to books, a membership to the gym, lectures, the theatre, trips to the museum, music, movies. There's an unfortunate price on culture, too.

My interests and my sexuality deem that, for me to be happy and do what I do, I have to have a completely separate wardrobe and toys to go along with it. Nine times out of ten, as a Domina, I am expected to have a certain look about me and certain tools available to me. The good news is: I like the look and the tools. The bad news is: It's damn expensive. Now, here comes the submissives and slaves, selfish, wanting me to have that look and to have those tools. Well, this is where I'm going to be selfish and want those submissives and slaves to pay for them. There's no such thing as a free lunch. You get what you pay for. You can't get something for nothing. And, I can't domme the sales person at my favourite fetish store out of things that I need.

Shoes, boots, corsets, bustiers, bras, thongs, capes, gloves. Money. Leather, lace, vinyl, rubber, PVC. Money. Whips, crops, floggers, cats, canes, hoods, masks, gags, rope, cuffs, restraints, harnesses, dildos, butt-plugs, vibrators, inflatables, furniture. Money. Isopropyl alcohol, KY, Band-Aids, Tylenol, cold packs, condoms, cleaning solutions, first aid kits. Money. Lots of money.

Here we are, me and the submissive/slave, both selfish and both wanting things. They want to serve me, please me, take care of me, be handled and used and toyed with by me. I want them to serve me, please me, take care of me, be handled and used and toyed with by me. Part of taking care of me, serving me, and pleasing me is making my life easier. Making my life easier takes money. We can now enter transportation costs, trips, car payments, rent, entertainment.

Do I expect one person to do all of these things for me? No, not unless this is a forum about <insert verb>'ing a millionaire. Do I require that one person be rich enough to do all of these things for me? No. But, I do expect and require that anyone that wishes and plans to serve me to do what they can in order to meet my financial and emotional needs. This is not about attempting to bankrupt a person. This is also not about prostitution. This is about someone putting their money where their mouth is. This is about the power exchange and money being power. This is about servitude and doing what it takes to please a Queen.
