| You have drifted into the depths of the deadly lava lamp! Now you must feel it's wrath!
Ok, I am sure you are wondering by now what the lava lamp of death is. It's a simple answer really, but a hard one at the same time. The lava lamp of death is an award, but so much more. It signifies that you have some wit and humor in you, and that you don't take life too seriously. Basically, any site can apply. Actually, you can apply even if you don't have a site! Below is what is required for both ways of entering. Sites Applying: - You must have some sort of humor in your site. It can be a spoof site, jokes, funny pictures, sarcasim, anything. I don't care if you have a goth site, as long as it shows some signs of not being deadly serious, and is entertaining. - The site does not have to have us rolling on the ground gripping our sides in laughter. It just has to make us smile. - The site can be serious, but there has to be a good deal of fun stuff in there too. - The site cannot be stressful. Basically, a decent loading time, no stolen graphics, not too many broken links, no broken graphics, no annoying music [midis are welcome, but either they are soothing and nice or have a stop button...like this site has]. - Be entertaining in a unique way! Basically, to clear up any confusion, the site does not have to be a funny page. It can be opinions, poems, goth, whatever, as long as you show some hint of being a fun person who doesn't see the world as being a bottomless pit of death and destruction. If you are not sure if your page fits...apply. I will tell you if it fits. Applying as a person: - No, you don't have to have a site to win. Apply as just yourself if you wish. - To do this, give me your name and e-mail address, and tell me why you deserve this award. What makes you a fun, entertaining, or weird person? - Please specify that you do not have a site! - You will be sent the award anyway, for your own personal use. It may not be used on a site that is not submitted! It is a copyrighted graphic! The world is full of too much seriousness and misery. This is to celebrate those that go through life making it the best they can, and are able to keep a smile on their face and the faces of others. When you apply for the award: - Two judges will look at it. I, the award and site creator, Psycho, and my friend Spooky. We will both vote. - It may take a few days or even weeks for one of us to get back to you. So please be patient. Whether you win or not, one of us will reply to you. If you do not win, we will explain why. - The desion of the judges is FINAL! - The award will be sent to the winner, with a link back to this site! Just so others can win, ya know. - Winners will be listed on the site so others can sift through your pages. Full web addresses should be supplied when applying for the award.
