I have had a lot of memories over my little life, some good and some bad. I want to list a few of them here for you. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll lift your leg on a tree! I'll never forget the first trip home. We came back from the pet shop and me and Erin just looked at each other the entire ride. I was pretty scared. But eventually, I jumped up and started wagging my tail and smothering Erin in kisses! When they brought me into my new house for the first time, I got a bit too excited and pooped on the carpet. That was the beginning of yard training for me. When Erin was in grammar school, the lady used to take me in the car to pick her up in the afternoons. I missed her when she was in school, and when I saw her I'd try to squeeze out the window to get to her. I don't get to go on many car rides since I never took to cars too well. I get too worked up, and sometimes I get sick in the car from it. Snow was always fun! Me and Erin used to have snowball fights when I was a puppy. She'd toss a snowball at me and I'd run around the yard, then catch her off guard and kick the snow up at her. Our yard froze over one year and I tried to ice skate on my paws. It didn't work very well. We went for a walk at the park one day and a big German Shepard got loose. It didn't like kids and it came after my kid. It jumped right over my little self, but I still grabbed it by the throat and put it down on the ground. I think I surprised everyone, even myself! I didn't hurt it, but I let it know who was boss. When I was a little older a Rotweiler decided I would make a tastey lunch and ran after me when Erin was walking me around the block. She didn't think twice, she just lifted me up and held me over her head. The other dog stopped and sat down, and it just stared up at me. It was scary being up that high, but it was better than the alternative! Erin tried to teach me to skateboard a few times. I didn't like it. Erin used to dress me up in her clothes all the time. It was terrible because I couldn't walk. But it was kindda funny. I remember when the little boys next door were born. They started coming out in the back yard when they learned to walk and I would sit nice by the back fence and let them feed me grass and pet my tail. I still do it when the weather is warm enough for them to be out. I love it when the lady chases me around the house with ironing board! She keeps telling me to bite it and all before she starts ironing instead of after. Not sure why. The man gets silly sometimes and chases me around the house making funny noises, or he rubs his feet all over my fur. He's silly! When it rains I am always happy to see my people come home dry. I hate it when the rain gets them. One time I was in the back yard and went behind the pool. Well, I found a squirel and decided the lady might like it, so I caught it and carried it to her. She said it was lovely, but I had to let it go. We don't get many squirels around here these days. Erin got a Furby and showed it to me. I was scarred of it. She took the batteries out of it for me. I like watching the dog shows and barking at the dogs while they prance around. I used to watch the hockey games on TV with Erin. We don't like the NY Islanders. My Bad Times I had to be taken to the vet one time because I had a tick in my chest. It was a big one, too. I still have a little bump where it was on my chest, but I'm better now. I was playing in the snow one time and I knocked my knee out while I was running around. It was awful. Erin started crying because I walked over to her with my back leg up. And the snow was so deep that the man and the lady couldn't get the car out and had to carry me all the way to the vet. They took turns carrying me, because 20 lbs. is still heavy to carry ten blocks in the snow. I have a little scar on my head from hitting myself with the bottom of the door. The lady got upset one time because I wasn't moving too much. It was during the summer and I was just panting a lot. So she took me to the vet and I had to stay over for awhile because I dehydrated. I was playing with the kids too hard and never stopped to drink water. I drink a lot of water now. The lady got mad at me one day because I was playing rough with her and bit her above her eye. I didn't mean to hurt her, but I did, and she didn't speak to me for a few days.
