Christopher is in absolute awe of the sight of this city. The Divine Sophia asks him if he would like to enter the city. He says to her that he would very much like to enter it. They approach the gates that are enormously large. They are larger than any buildings he had ever seen on Earth. She then speaks words that Christopher had never heard before. The gates then open and as they do a rainbow of light comes pouring through the gates along with the most overpowering music. They pass through the gates and as they do the light and music subside. Inside the city Christopher sees many people and many buildings of light that stretch as far as he could see. Among the people he also sees beings that are like angels working with all the people he sees. He sees these angels and people collected in various groups.

     These groups are schools of learning and preparation. Many different people are gathered in many different buildings. Every building contains its own wisdom and knowledge that emanate from it. Everything in the blue crystal city is made of light, which allows Christopher to see into every building. Even the streets are of golden light. The Divine Sophia tells Christopher that she is going to take him to the temple as they continue their way through the city. They move down a long and straight street of golden light at which the temple stood at the very end. They floated very slowly along the street toward the temple while Christopher was still very much in awe of everything. The temple was of all white light and sat far above the city on pink-white clouds. A thousand steps of golden light lead up to the temple. They slowly ascend the steps while each step emits a tone within the soul and spirit of Christopher until all the steps and their musical tones create a symphony of sound within him. These tones seem to be cleansing the soul and spirit of Christopher.

     After finally ascending the steps they reach the top and stand before the doors of the temple. The doors of the temple are violet. Again the Divine Sophia speaks words that are not of earthly origin and the doors slowly open. Together they quietly enter the temple and the doors close behind them. Everything is absolutely still and quiet. A long corridor leads to an inner room at the other end. There is very little light within the temple. Slowly they move down the corridor to the inner room. Reaching the end of the corridor there are two violet curtains that separate them from the inner room. The Divine Sophia says to Christopher that if his journey is to continue, they must enter the room. Facing the curtains she spreads her arms open but this time says nothing. Her body begins to almost disappear before him. While doing so, her body begins to emit the most beautiful musical tones. The veils then slowly open. Christopher follows the Divine Sophia into the room, which is completely dark, and without any light.

     The two veils close behind them. She tells Christopher that he must now confront the Guardian of the Threshold. After saying this she completely disappears and Christopher is now standing in total darkness and absolute silence. He is now becoming very frightened. Suddenly a pale blue altar appears before him. Grey dark smoke begins to pour out of the top of the altar and begins to fill the floor of the room. Christopher's attention is fixated on the altar. At the same time a deep drone fills the entire room. Rising out of the top of the altar is a being that is more hideous then anything he could imagine. It has seven beast-like heads each one different from the other and ten snake-like creatures weaving in and out of its body. Its body is covered with the most horrible looking sores.
