The sight of this being is terrifying. All of the heads spoke to the inner soul of Christopher. They told him that they are a picture, a reflection of all of his thoughts, feelings, actions, and words that stand against the lion of the sun. They told him that they live within the very depths of his soul. They must be redeemed and overcome. This is a picture of his soul they told him and it is all that he has done over many lives. It is all that he must rectify and redeem. It is only redeemed by wisdom, love, and selflessness. That which lives in the lion of the sun will in time live in him they tell Christopher. They finish by saying that the life, soul and spirit of the lion of the sun will live in him. The picture of the Guardian of the Threshold began to fade and disappear.
In its place on the altar two angelic beings appeared kneeling and facing each other. They extended their wings toward one another and held them very still. The grey dark smoke that filled the room was transformed into a soft pink cloud. Between the two angelic beings a tongue of fire now appeared. A voice sounded from the tongue of fire and at the same time it also resounded from deep within Christopher's soul. The voice pronounced: "I AM the I AM." Christopher intuitively understood that this was the origin of his self and that its likeness is the very essence of his deepest inner self.
The whole picture of the altar then dissolves while the Divine Sophia reappears. Christopher had been deeply moved by this experience of confronting the Guardian of the Threshold and experiencing the voice of the I AM. The Divine Sophia tells him that the voice was the voice of the lion of the sun. While still within the inner room of the temple a likeness of the sun appeared. In its center was an image of a pink-white rose. The Divine Sophia encourages Christopher to look into the rose. Suddenly a panorama of his life and all of his past lives open before him.
It is then that Christopher began to experience all of his past. All the good and wrong that he did to others was reflected back to his soul. The good that he did for others was felt as a deeply warm feeling in his soul. The wrong and the pain that he caused others were felt as a burning pain in his own soul. His relationships to others would now be forever changed. This experience and vision began to fade and dissolve. The inner room of the temple was now dark again and only lighted by the radiance of the Divine Sophia. She now looked upon Christopher and told him that they must continue their journey to higher spheres. In order to do so, she told him to experience as deeply as possible the feelings in his soul. As he did, the entire realm of the inner room, the temple and the crystal blue city faded. They then started to ascend far above the earth and were now moving past the moon and then past Venus and Mercury. Strangely at the same time Christopher felt that the earth, moon, Venus and Mercury were becoming parts of his whole being; as if his own being were expanding outwardly through these regions of space. They were now moving directly toward the sun. The sun appears in the cold darkness of space as a very powerful and immensely large orb of light and heat. As they moved toward the sun, they could perceive its spiritual aura, which then began to transform into the likeness of a pink-white rose; a flaming rose.
The Divine Sophia told Christopher that this is the Mystic Rose; the Gate of Heaven. They began to enter the very heart of the flaming Mystic Rose, the sphere of the spiritual aura of the sun. As they passed into the spiritual aura of the sun, they were engulfed by flaming golden light. Musical tones and voices came from everywhere and were extremely powerful. In a short time all of this became bearable due to a transfiguration in the soul and spirit of Christopher. His soul body had dissolved and he was now pure spirit only. He no longer had any form of any kind. He was pure light as was now the Divine Sophia. Before them a figure did take form. A mighty archangel appeared to them. He held a flaming golden sword in hand. He communicated to Christopher that he would show him the distant future of humanity and the earth.
